Desert's Edge [SCORE CHALLENGE] (http://vita.lbp.me/v/cc1h6)

Inspired by the various PLCC5 entries as well as a few recent Team Picks, I gave myself just under a week to make a short and sweet level based around accumulating as many points as possible. The level has a buttload of points for you to collect (ew) should you want a chance at glory. Additionally, you can just enjoy a scenic stroll through my prettiest Vita level yet. Either way works, just have fun!

The level is designed to be easy to complete, but hard to master. If you want a continuous chain throughout the level (believe me, it's possible!), you'll need to become a master of speed and precision. Red bubbles give a hundred points each, but are they red herrings? Buttons and switches provide an arbitrary amount of points as well as a multiplier that doesn't expire until you get to the next bubble. Use these tactically and reap the rewards!

Also, guess what show I was watching while I created this for 100,000 honorary bonner points (not worth anything).

Known Issues:

The level starts off a bit laggy, but after you collect a few bubbles it should be fine. There is also a weird glitch on the checkered platforms where you can fall through a solid object if you switch layers upon contacting the tiles. I'm not sure why this is, and it's really dumb.

Also, for the centrifuge, remember to hold left!

At any rate, play this level and hopefully have fun.

If you have a PS Vita, the LittleBigPlanet Vita game, and spare time, you should play his level, because I'm certainly not going to do it and I don't want him to complain.

By the way, the show he's talking about is Gravity Falls. Mention it around him and it actually makes him require a change of clothing.

Your work on lbpvita has produced some of my favorite gameplay thus far. This level is pure awesome. You have a brilliant grasp of what is fun. That is the most important part of level making in my opinion. The fun factor. I don't care how beautiful a level is, if it's not fun to play, what's the point? All of your levels are a joy to play, and I keep going back to them because of that.

The level looks great too. Great use of stickers, decorations, and material choices. I like how you show some logic here and there, like the grab switches. Reminds me of the story levels from lbp1. Not too many people do that anymore, it seemed like a strange thing to do when I first played your levels, but it really works with your art style.

Hearted this, and I hope the guy's at Tarsier will give you a long overdue team pick soon.

Thanks for the kind words! It means a lot.

I do have one question though: should I make the achievements easier to get? Right now they are 100,000, 250,000 and 500,000. It's possible to get 900,000 or more points in the level but most people get under 10% of that. Would 75,000, 125,000 and 200,000 make more sense?

At any rate, I'm feeling one more vita level in me before I return to LBP2. It shouldn't take too long to build.

I would lower the scores for the achievements. I have played it a few times, and I am still trying the best way to hit the combos

I have not cracked 100,000 yet, but I will.

That seems like a reasonable goal for the half-way point.

Okay, I switched them to 60,000, 100,000 and 200,000. Those seem much more attainable.

Also, anyone who gets a score over 300,000 will be hearted. Incentivise! Also, I'll take a look at your levels if you want some feedback.
