| It's definitely great The visuals are top notch. The standing logs where you can't stay too long because it goes down is great. Looks really realistic. | Hi AV. I really enjoyed this Ugly Level Contest entry. It was perfect for this, and you did a great job incorporating the contraptions from the template level. And CuriousSack did a great job on the music. You guys make a wonderful Team, and I'm now wishing I had created a level for this contest. Visually, you definitely got quite a few things done, and I never felt bored looking at the level, which is quite good. The section where you have to jump out of the alcoves with the blocks pushing you out got annoying pretty quickly, and yet I was quite satisfied once I figured out the timing, so I can't quite complain there either. My only wish is that the level was a bit longer; there are only a couple of segments I really remember simply because there wasn't too much. (Of course, I understand you had to make your level to a certain set of criteria, so it's cool.) Oh, and you might want to add a wall to the right of your scoreboard, since anyone with an extra player can walk by it. | 2013-05-13 02:30:00 Author: Unknown User  |
| Nice work with this. You did some cool sticker work with the face thing of the lady. Some of the 3D elements seemed a bit superfluous. One part in particular, you entered a room via mirror, and there was this large post or tree in the foreground blocking the view. | I was very impressed by this level, the theming was impressive and Vincenza had some real personality for so little screen time. I did have one minor issue, on the steps down to the water you can easily go under the next platform - indeed it looks like an invitation to a secret area. There is nothing to suggest that the water is dangerous at this point so I hopped right in, and bzzzaiiibzzz-pop, fried sackboy. Either some invisible dark/light matter to block the way, or an 'electric' sign in plain view would be more than enough. | I played it and I loved it. The atmosphere was outstanding and I thought you had a special knack for using object from the game in a way that they blended in and made something amazing looking. It reminded me of something like Limbo in both general feel and even gameplay. I took it slow and enjoyed looking at the craftsmanship. That is a complement because I am generally a player who rushes through stuff.
