A long time ago there was a Scoreboard, which lost bubbles in some workshop... They were dispatched through dimensions because of the madness of some evil creators... But one day, a brave sackboy came, to help this poor Scoreboard... And guess what ? YOU are this sack boy !!!

Hi guys !
I didn't published any level for some months... but I come right back with a new level, which is my entry for PLCC5 Contest !
The goal of this last one is to do a gigantic bubble combo ! We also have to use a pen and to write something about our creation style and process. I will publish my tutorial this afternoon/evening.

Amazing. A little hard most of the times, but VERY COOL. A few things: you can also use a controlinator set to Receive From Player and a tag to indicate when L1 is pressed and a toggle instead of using sackbots though. It makes everything a lot easier - i mean, you could use real checkpoints instead of sackbot ones. And, there was a little stutter when changing between sides. Also, everything could have been explained a little better and there could've been some more story. (and maybe you could've used the pen a bit more )

Besides those few small things, AMAZING. I loved it (and my music )

I thought about it... but sadly the "Sack-canons" wouldn't have worked, because they're not able to emit sackboys ( yeah, I'm using an emitter ! ).


And, there was a little stutter when changing between sides.
That's right, but really difficult to reduce : each time you press Left Trigger, LOTS of materials and bubbles are destroyed or emitted. There's also lights effects... My level emits and destroys areas the player doesn't need to see and I used several tips to reduce the lag... but it sticks although a little bit when changing between sides.

People still don't understand how to get on cool pages.

This level is amazing and deserves to be played.

Yeah, I saw it. Glad you enjoyed it ! As VecroJonze said, I had to delete it and publish a brand one... Now I'm on the first Cool Page !

Cool and fun platformer, I like the changing sides feature... seems like it could have begun as an LBPC10 entry, with time shifts?

(I had slight lag throughout the level, nothing game-stopping though)

If I did it, how could I give the sackboy a velocity ? Emitters can give some speed to the emitted sackbot, but the eject function just makes the sackboy going out of the controlinator... When the sackboy is ejected from the controlinator, there is also an annoying animation with the sackboy !

Hmm... yeah, you're right. Maybe you could move the cannon up or something, idk if it works but maybe.

AMAZING, i played this level on release and gave it a favorite and a thumbs up right away. nice visuals are packed with nostalgic Donkey Kongish gameplay. The bubbles are nicely placed and the dimension shift mechanic is well executed even though the frame-rate suffers slightly. Amazing overall i love it!2013-05-17 10:11:00

Congrats dude on the team pick, the crown and the planetarium pin! I remember trying to get that high-score. But I didn't make it xD
