AND FADE TO BLACK! AAAND the trooper. I like Metallica and Iron Maiden, but I hate both drummers. They suck so much. I mean, but at least the Nico McBrain dude mixes it up once and a while and can play fills. Lars Ulrich is the worst drummer ever. Metallica needs a new drummer....NOW! Personally, I like RATM, Iron Maiden, and Buckethead the best. | Ok, I... kinda want to start making an RPG using RPG Maker XP >_<. As such... | What is a ... meme..? :O *sits down expectantly waiting a reply* A meme is a range of things. It can be slang, a phrase, a joke. A lot of meme's come from the "Chans." These chans are imgboards, among the most infamous of these is 4chan, and in particular their random board /b/. Memes are often developed elsewhere, than discovered by a member of one of the chans. Thus they are made famous. You know that song "Chocolate Rain," well it was discovered by a /b/tard (what /b/ regs refer to themselves as) and made famous because of the line "*I move away from the mic to breath in*" or something similar. That quote is a meme now. A good example of a slang meme is over 9000. The chans use this in place of numbers. An example of a phrase meme that you might know is "So I heard you liek mudkipz." This originated from a deviantart comment on a mudkip picture saying "So I heard you liek mudkipz." A /b/tard thus proceeded to write a copypasta (an essay that get's copied over and over again) and posted it on 4chan, thus mudkipz became a meme after many a copypasta. A joke meme is usually included in some sort of copypasta. If you run across a copy pasta like this, it might have the Bel-air ending, or the Reeses Puffs commercial. I'd show you an example, but I can't seem to find a copypasta that is appropriate. Now that you know all of this, don't go to 4chan or an of the other chans. They will warp your mind, desensitize you, and possibly ruin your life. After going in there you will lose your faith in humanity, trust me, been there done that. TL;DR Don't go to any of the chans. | A meme is a range of things. It can be slang, a phrase, a joke. A lot of meme's come from the "Chans." These chans are imgboards, among the most infamous of these is 4chan, and in particular their random board /b/. Memes are often developed elsewhere, than discovered by a member of one of the chans. Thus they are made famous. You know that song "Chocolate Rain," well it was discovered by a /b/tard (what /b/ regs refer to themselves as) and made famous because of the line "*I move away from the mic to breath in*" or something similar. That quote is a meme now. A good example of a slang meme is over 9000. The chans use this in place of numbers. An example of a phrase meme that you might know is "So I heard you liek mudkipz." This originated from a deviantart comment on a mudkip picture saying "So I heard you liek mudkipz." A /b/tard thus proceeded to write a copypasta (an essay that get's copied over and over again) and posted it on 4chan, thus mudkipz became a meme after many a copypasta. A joke meme is usually included in some sort of copypasta. If you run across a copy pasta like this, it might have the Bel-air ending, or the Reeses Puffs commercial. I'd show you an example, but I can't seem to find a copypasta that is appropriate. Now that you know all of this, don't go to 4chan or an of the other chans.
