It's best enjoyed with more than one player, but yes, you can play the level alone, if you like. http://i1.lbp.me/img/ft/a81c9a78181112c6242d1b968d9c5b76a06132fa.jpg You use a modified '64 Impala to 'hop' as high in the air as you can. Use multipliers and sheer height to gain as many points as possible. The level itself has a short intro cutscene: http://i4.lbp.me/img/ft/664557eb80c6e5f43ac1943f436e2d9dd01aa06f.jpg And a choice of four electronica songs. http://i0.lbp.me/img/ft/b5033155e7fa3e9183d19f98b5317d8c32e0e51b.jpg Even the testers who I forced to endure this level several kazillion times still enjoy it. I suggest you give Pop a Hop a go! MeGA8940 (http://lbp.me/u/MeGA8940)is one of the said testers, and he also provided support and one of the four songs. I sorta kinda helped on it, so don't praise him too much. Festerd_Jester (http://lbp.me/u/Festerd_Jester), who we all know as being awesome at everything he does, also provided some music. Re-Spec is one of the songs used in this level, and it's soon gonna be replaced by a different one, probably by KittyMuffinzz (http://lbp.me/u/KittyMuffinzz). Hope you enjoy. http://lbp.me/v/keshn1 | 2013-05-05 06:36:00 Author: Kaboosh99 Posts: 359 |
I always wanted a '64! I can't wait to give this one a go. | 2013-05-07 17:32:00 Author: peoriaspitfire Posts: 359 |

I always wanted a '64! I can't wait to give this one a go. It is a rather iconic car, no? I saw you gave me a heart, thanks for that. This is so definitely positively queued. Thanks for queuing! Hope you enjoy. | 2013-05-09 11:48:00 Author: Kaboosh99 Posts: 359 |
I have this on my queue as well, along with a few others. Once I get a chance to play it I certainly will! | 2013-05-09 14:01:00 Author: Kato Posts: 732 |
will add it to the boss queue man, I mean to the queue boss man. | 2013-05-09 17:54:00 Author: biorogue Posts: 8424 |
This was fun little level with some real nice design elements. I played this with one of my kids, but didn't get a chance to play very long and thus never quite grasped the secret to a big hop. The name you choose was a great choice and is actually what led me to take a closer look. It would be cool if you could have more than one car and let the player pick their car/color and have a op-off side by side. I also liked the suspension that you could see. I'm curious why the car was positioned so far back on the lift...? | 2013-05-10 06:32:00 Author: peoriaspitfire Posts: 359 |

I'm curious why the car was positioned so far back on the lift...? Thanks for playing! And the compliments! The car was placed that far back to allow players to reach near 90 degree angles. Which is very possible, by the way. http://i3.lbp.me/img/ft/e83655eb85884c762fc5274e5b2e22d4b4a190e4.jpg If I didn't place it that far back, the back of the car would get stuck on the edge of the lift. So my solution was to place it like that. I'm just curious, but what did your son/daughter think of the level? | 2013-05-10 08:00:00 Author: Kaboosh99 Posts: 359 |
My daughter is 7 and she loved it. She was smiling and laughing for sure. Placing the car that far back on the lift makes since now, but I know in real life that these contests are on the ground. I can’t recall how the back end of these cars perform in real life, but I just saw one topple over backwards last week on a tosh.0 a video clip. I was able to get the car to vertical, but I'm still not sure how the controls work. I was more button smashing… Out of curiosity, what triggered you to make this level? | 2013-05-10 15:43:00 Author: peoriaspitfire Posts: 359 |
Queued! And that's cool, I'm having KittyMuffinz make me some of her awesome music for my levels as well! | 2013-05-10 16:03:00 Author: theIronHorse Posts: 279 |

The level was originally going to be on the ground, with a few sackbots giving encouragement. Just to make it feel more like a contest. But because of the whole 'getting stuck' thing, I had to put the car on a lift. When I was around your daughter's age, I once played a street racing game called LA Rush on the PS2. There was a multiplayer mode that this level was based on; I remember being able to hop over 120 inches in the air using my old black Impala. So one day I thought I may as well build a turn based level with all the things that were missing from the original game. Queued! And that's cool, I'm having KittyMuffinz make me some of her awesome music for my levels as well! It's me, Matthaniel. Kaboosh99. We met before.
