I'm having trouble with the Slice n' Dice tool.

Well, I think this might be a bug, but whenever I use the "Slice N' Dice" tool I use it for making things with a lot of detail, but recently I've been having problems. I'll be using it and all of the sudden my PS3 will freeze. I restart it and it's not an error, and it works fine after, but whenever i use the tool, it freezes the game. | After the last patch the Slice & Dice tool became glitchy and would sometimes freeze your ps3. It's best not to use it until the next patch. You could still use it but it's risky. Don't use it on large objects or create a lot of vertices. Also don't try to merge 2 of the same materials after you've sliced that material it will freeze your ps3 too. Those are the only work around I found, but it's still risky.
