Whatever method they used was totally stupid. My friend can still wear her crown... I can't wear mine, but I still own the DLC does that mean if I ever win a crown contest I'll never be able to wear a crown again? Because they didn't delete the DLC they just removed the ability to wear it or show it in your inventory...

So you never got a crown the old fashioned way by earning it? ..they cannot come on to your box and delete that, but they can remove the ability to wear it or show it in your inventory. If you should ever get one like in a contest or doing something really amazing, then you will get a code to be able to download a rightful one as well as proudly wear it etc. So it sounds like the method they used worked just fine.

EDIT: Just checked I can wear my crown on my other accounts. Just not the one I downloaded it from the store with.

Just not the one I downloaded it from the store with. lol... well, then you are both as you say "FAIL" for wearing something you didn't earn. It is really easy to be second guessers at the inner workings of Sony, but please remember it is just a game and the crown is a digital costume bit. The act of earning one is priceless and those deeds to earn it never forgotten... just having one via a mistake in the store is completely forgettable and really means very little.

I'm just saying they totally failed with this update because all the noobs still have their crown and can still gameshare it and spread it and absolutely nothing has been accomplished. Trust me, we've been trying to EARN our crowns but lots of people who will never make a decent level still have theirs

Until then or someone else finds it for you, it really isn't as big a deal as all that. If you disagree, again read my last post.

And this update didn't fix anything. That's my point. a 49MB update that did absolutely nothing at all and didn't fix any problem.

Complaining about it here does nothing at all. ..not sure why you are so hostile. Not like they killed your dog, stole your pc or dented your car door. Again.. the crown itself is just a symbol. The deeds done as well as the receipt of the code are far more special. ...at least it was to me and several others that have gotten one. Many of us don't even wear it. It was how we got it that was so cool for us. StevenI's last message to us about it was via Twitter: "It's fixed in the sense that the content has been removed from the store now. The remaining issue is for us to figure out the best way to award/revoke the Crown/other Rare DLC." If the update is not working due to gamesharing or alt accounts, that is something they will have to look at. Also keep in mind gamesharing is an illegal act as part of the Sony EULA. It is also pretty naive as you are allowing others access to your account, earth and moon.
