The first game I played was GTA Vice City when I was 4.2013-04-26 02:28:00

I think it was Sonic the Hedgehog. Could never get past the labyrinth zone, until I replayed it in Sonic generations where I finally, after so many years, completed the first game I ever played (Though without the Emeralds, forget that!).

The first game I 100% was the first Spyro the Dragon, hence my favourite colour has pretty much always been purple.

It's either Revenge of the Shinobi or Sonic the Hedgehog 2.2013-04-26 03:29:00

I think the first game I remember playing was Lego Island when I was about 4 or 5. I loved all the classic Lego games as a kid. I like the TT lego games too, but they feel very different to the old lego games. The new Lego City sounded promising and could have been great if they created a Lego Island kind of thing, but it's ended up looking like a generic kiddy GTA game that doesn't actually have anything to do with lego...

But whatever

I think the first non-PC game I played was on the GBC. I don't remember exactly which game I got first but it might have been the Thubderbirds game. I don't think I ever actually completed it, it only had a password save system and I could never be bothered to write them down.

I'm pretty sure the first proper console I ever played on was the PS1. Well, the PlayStation, since the PS2 didn't exist yet. I never owned a PS1 so I'm not sure which game I played first. It would have either been Crash Bandicoot, Crash Tram Racing, Crash Bash, or Rayman. Crash Bash was definitely the game I played the most on the PS1 since we always had a group of people gathered around the TV and it was a lot of fun in multiplayer. Since then, the Crash and Rayman games have been favourites of mine. Well, most of them -.-

The first proper console I owned was the PS2. The first game I played on it was Rayman Revolution, which is mostly just a remake of Rayman 2. I love Rayman 2, I definitely own more versions of that game than any other.

Anyway, I think I've answered the question, and I need some breakfast. So bye

Not sure if it was Bruce Lee on the Commodore 64 or Trap Door on the Spectrum 48. Or something else. It was a long time ago! Never completed either though, I know that.

Now if you haven't watched any Trap Door before, I can help you remedy that:

I got a Gameboy Advance for my 5th birthday. I had never heard of it or about video games in general. I loved it.

I think it was a Star Wars game on the PS1. That was forever ago. I used to always play it with my brother. I don't even remember having seen the movies back then, but I think I had at least seen one.2013-04-26 19:37:00

The first Spyro game.
I remember, we're were at a friend of my mom's house, and I was very small.
The guy let me play his PS1 while they were talking, and I was so busy and impressed and all the stuff that the dood actually gave me his PS so that I could play at home. :o
Biggest achievement in that game was catching that blasted green Egg Thief in the "Tree Tops" level. I even put that on the calendar: The I-Finally-Got-Him Day. xD
I now bought the trilogy on the PS Store and got him at once, proof that I became better at games after so many years.

Crazy Taxi on the PS2 was my first game, when I was 4. I've had a love of racing games ever since. GT4, NFS Underground 2, Midnight Club 3 and LA, and WipEout HD Fury have been some of my all time favourites.

EDIT: How could I forget Burnout 3? Road rage was far too much fun.

The first game I played must have been "Summergames" or "Galactic Gardener" and was aprox 1984.
The so called computer was a C64 at this time
Shocking old, isn't it?

The first game I really got into was 'Night Stalker' for the Intellivision when I was about 6 (It was my parents console). I also played Bruce Lee & Summer Games on my neighbors Commodore 64. Then I got my NES at age 9, and it was all downhill from there! 2013-04-28 21:15:00

Indie in da haus!

The first game I played was GTA Vice City when I was 4.
I love how we all grew up playing possibly one of the most controversial game series of all time. Kids nowadays are too sheltered, they shouldn't be planting flowers or buying furniture from Nook's Cranny,THEY SHOULD BE RUNNING OVER PEDESTRIANS!

(Not that I have anything against Animal Crossing, I freaking love that game!)

Either Super Mario Bros. or Super Mario World. The first game I owned was Rayman though.
This is probably most similar to my first games. Maybe with the addition of Tomb Raider.

I think one other game was Transport Tycoon. Now, though, I'm still addicted to Open transport Tycoon Deluxe!

Cheers, Bud.

Rayman 2: The Great Escape for PC. My brother and I used half the keyboard each and played through it together, it was awesome! Fantastic game, we were stuck on the final boss for over a year but it's still one of the most satisfying games I've played.2013-05-03 17:01:00

It was some skiing game on the BBC Micro.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=00KI-q4urKo

It might have been this but I seem to remember going downhill, not across the screen.

Then it was the Mega Drive and the Amiga. I didn't have many games for the Mega Drive but I played them a lot. It came with Sonic 2, Columns and Superbike. I liked Landstalker on the Mega Drive a bunch.

I had an entire shoebox of copied floppies for the Amiga. Games like Tornado, Frontier Elite, Lotus Turbo Challenge 2, Cannon Fodder, Sensible Soccer, Desert Strike, Space Hulk, Zool, James Pond, etc.

I recall playing Frogger 2 on the PS2 (impossible), Star Wars Battlefront, Pokemon: Fire Red, and Kirby and the Amazing Mirror (which I got from my cousin for giving him Monkeyball for the game boy) I beat that Kirby game 2 years later.2013-05-06 15:16:00
