First level of Crystal Crisis 2, intended to ease players into the story and style. Somewhat cutscene heavy, but with some good boss design.

The Academy is a no-nonsense facility run by a high-strung woman and a somewhat inefficient computer.

When disaster strikes, you have to make your way through and around the facility, sometimes by way of floating debris.

Some simple puzzles set the tone for this to be a light-hearted adventure.

The grid-like aesthetics are designs by choice, making an interesting geometric look.

The level Boss is a robot you fight twice! Once in an elevator lift, once on a bridge.

Author's Notes: I agree it's a bit long with the intent of setting up the tone and story. HA was made after a long hiatus without levels being made, so this is me coming back to LBP to try new ideas.

Pros: Simple, easy level, with modest designs, humorous characters, and some reasonable platforming. I see it as being an innocuous adventure. Nothing amazing or revolutionary, but it isn't terrible.
Cons: Quite long actually, and some of the attract-o-tweak parts are pretty tough.

Great level!

That's a nice story with very enjoyable gameplay and very good visuals!

I try to play each level, which will be published here wheter it is F4F or not. So there is no need for you to play one of mine.
If you like feel free to play any of my levels or none. I'm happy about every play, but I don't want to force you

A smallish update has been made to Hero Academy. During the second part, at the first floating-objects section, there was a platform with an upside down Story-Pod. Activating it usually meant falling to your death. Also, the jump to the next platform was a bit prickly what with the big cubist protrusions sticking up out of an attract-o-tweaked object. So it's been debuggled so that it's easier to get to the next platform, and the Pod won't kill you. Boss's second battle takes fewer hits as well for pacing reasons.2013-04-24 16:17:00

I was stuck at the part where I was supposed the enter to computer (who was hillarious, by the way). I don't get that part. As much as I got to play the level though... It was good, a bit too long for its own good, but it was well above the average middle-point. I will review this when I have time.2013-04-25 20:25:00

Hmm. I'll have to add an indicating arrow then. If you fought the robot in the elevator and got to the computer room, the idea is that you go back left and finish of the Boss. I'll add something to help direct players. Thanks!

It helps having info like this. Playing my level it's intuitive because I know where to go, but I don't usually hear much from anyone else. Actually... you're the first person to ever really say anything at all. XD So thanks! I'll fix this tonight.
