Major problem! (For me anyways.. )

Archive: 4 posts

Hello! I didn't have much intent to come here til I'd started creating levels and as luck would have it I am working on one right now! It isn't my frst, my first was just something to play with but this one I'm taking seriously which brings me to my big problem..

I looked away for a second, went to the kitchen to get a drink while in create mode. My cat hopped off the desk where my controller was. I assume she hit something that caused this anyways, I got back to playing and creating. Went to switch to play mode to test what I'd built. It didn't ask me if I wanted to save or discard changes, so I backed up and manually saved it. Tested it, it was good, went back and messed a door up.

So I went to hit the undo button, nothing happened. Redo didn't work either.

Help! That button is super important I think! It isn't even showing up in the button hud prompt at the bottom of the screen anymore.

I can't see how your cat could manage to alter the coding of the game.. are you sure you weren't in play mode? Also, if you're in create mode, I don't think it would allow you to undo/redo if you haven't made any changes. Likewise, if you've already saved it before you went for a drink, if you then change to play mode it won't ask you to save changes. Is the dpad on your controller still working? Have you tried turning it off and on gain? 2013-04-19 11:03:00

Hi. You can only undo from the point you make your first change/add stuff to the level. when entering create mode. So if you play test your level and reenter create mode, it will onnly undo to the point you actually entered create mode at. Once you make any changes to your level it will let you undo or redo, but only to the point you entered create mode at. As long as you dont resave over your level having made the mistake, it wont save over the working save.2013-04-19 20:13:00
