Hey guys! Fan of LBP and LBP 2 here working on one of my levels, and I need HELP! With logic. XD Okay, so we've got minecarts in this level, and I need them to turn on when a player is inside them, and start rolling non-stop. However, there's a catch. They need to be able to change direction when they impact certain tagged objects. Green makes them go right, red makes them go left. I can make them roll forwards when the player is inside. Easy. I can make them change direction when hitting the objects. Cake. I just have no idea how to combine these.

you can turn on and off an entire microchip. so if you can already make it change directions then put that logic in a microchip and then use your player censor logic that you also made to turn on and off the microchip that controls the direction.

Sadly, that doesn't work. The direction changing required the motorbolt wheels to be on forwards/backwards, and the player sensor needs wheel with on/off. Edit: Ah HA! Got it! My Solution: I made a microchip containing two rotators. one for left, one for right. These rotators are powered by an AND gate each. Both AND gates require an active player sensor attached to the cart, as well as an input from a selector. Selector Output 1 is activates by green tags, and 2 by red ones. There is also an anigrav dampener that deactivates when the player sensor is active. This way the loose bolts will not keep rolling once the player jumps out.

you'd be better off replacing the motor bolt with a normal bolt and using rotators. gives you more control

Ha ha, thanks. Yeah, that's what I ended up doing and it worked. YES. We shall have awesome minecart adventures now.
