Hello, I wanna update my profile pic on lbpv. but when i open my profile (or others) I get the following error: C2-12828-1 And the game crashes. I tryed, googling, but all im told is to basically get better internet.

I cant replicate this error no matter how i try. There must be something common between all of your profiles, maybe a certain level played or something... To much of a coincidence to be individual issues.

I too have recently starter suffering this horrible affliction, however I see no similarities in the levels that each of us have played in the community- perhaps one of the DLC levels for the Marvel Arcade pack were hiding a glitch within then?

LoL, I don't have it. 8D The game runs fine for me, but maybe that's just because I mostly play around in create mode ... It seems this became a common problem and Tarsier needs to fix it in their next patch.

I too have recently starter suffering this horrible affliction, however I see no similarities in the levels that each of us have played in the community- perhaps one of the DLC levels for the Marvel Arcade pack were hiding a glitch within then? I do believe it is something in the Marvel pack too. I never had this problem before I downloaded the new dlc. Any profile I go into this happens, not just mine.

I don't have DLC yet, it can't be that. This is getting very annoying now, since someone commented on my profile (i checked that on LBP.me though) and it has the annoying glow around it, AND, my profile pic is very ugly and i can't change it.

IT happens to me too but only when i try to veiw only my profile. im sick of it but i can still veiw others

I have the marvel DLC and my game is working just fine. I still cant replicate this error. there must be another common connection **UPDATE** Success! Ive managed to replicate the glitch! All i did was start the software from scratch, navigate community>Me>My Profile and it kicks up an error (C2-12828-1) lol complicated steps Now whats strange about this is it also led me to discover why i went so long without the problem. If you attempt to view another players profile from "Recent Activity" it loads up just fine. I can jump from creator to creator with no error. There is still an issue viewing my own profile at this point however.

I've had the same issue as many LBPers. I can't access my own profile, but seem to have no trouble seeing others. This is frustrating, but at least with this thread I know it isn't just me and it must be an update issue. I was thinking my memory card was corrupted, seems that is not the case...phew. Hopefully this gets fixed very soon. Yes I am a hardcore LBPer, and No I don't need to get a life...I have many. **update** Just thought I'd let anyone who's interested know that just like repulsor 101, I also got back onto my profile. To further previous comments, when you go into recent activity you just have to scroll down until you find where someone posted a comment to your profile. Then select your PSN name and you should be able to get into your profile. Afterwards you can access it from your planet as usual. At least that's how it worked for me, hopefully this helps someone else.

Same problem here, I guess it takes some time to find out what causes the glitch and to find a way to fix it. Till then I'll just try to join others via recent activity.

The strange thing about this glitch is that it took time to propagate. It didn't effect ppl as soon as the update rolled out so some additional time may be required for investigating the issue. At least we have a way to access our profiles, even if it is slightly intermittent.

the update file for LBPV will continue to grow as it contains all the updates and overwrites the last. As long as they continue to add DLC and patches that update file will continue to get larger everytime we download it.
