Dark Cloud series!

so anyone like the Dark Cloud seris?
I have beaten Dark Cloud 1 on my PS3 preety easily. And for Dark Cloud 2 i beat it on PS2 but now im working on doing it on PS3 and im in the Water world.. forgot the real name but its the one after balance valley.
Dark cloud 1 i forgot what weapons i had but with Dark Cloud 2 i say i have preety fairly good weps just a bad brassard for Monica

Just wondering anyone got ether on of these and want to Discuss it a bit
i have been playing lots!

AND JUST TO ADD

Dark Cloud 3 is being released in JAPAN soon . Might have to buy a copy from Ebay Eh:arg:
but doing that would just give me a Japanese version which i wouldnt want. meh it will probaly spread to USA!

Dark Cloud wasn't bad but Dark Cloud 2 is one of the best RPG i've ever played. It was completely amazing.

But this rumor about Dark Cloud 3 is old like the sun. It actually began even before you first heard of White Knight Story.
Dark Cloud 3 was even supposed to hit the PS2. When people got interested into WKS, the rumor disappeared.... in order to resurface now for some reason.

I find Dark Cloud 2 (Dark Chronicles over here) infinitely better than the original. It was bigger, better, more beautiful and it actually had a worthwhile plot. The time travel thing was very innovative too.

Oh man, I love the Dark Cloud series. I don't recall much from the first one, but the second one was absolutely amazing (great, now you've got me wanting to play it again >.<).

My only real problem with the game was that I could never get into the monster transforming stuff. The monsters were always so weak, and unlike Max and the Ridepod, shared the same HP with Monica. It never felt worth it to me. Maybe I didn't try hard enough or something.		2009-01-24 06:57:00

well gameguy my second time around i use it lots.

i got the Wind Dragon from the reptile family and i really leaned on it for help in Star light canyone in that balance valley place.

its good if you train it you just gotta get into it.

but i suggest you get the wind dragon this is what you need to put in the capsule
3 wind elements

I loved both of these games and played them many hours. My wife even liked them and she isn't into very many games. It would be terrific if another one did get released but I'm not gonna hold my breath.2009-01-24 11:16:00

Dark Cloud 2 WAS AWESOME. i beat it to the brim (twice, my save got corrupted when i was on the final boss, so i had to go all the way back through) and was great.

Although the end kinda depressed me.
SPOILER:i was really depressed that monica died, that really sucked. I was sad that i could no longer change characters but also that max would not see his mum again

Er... I don't recall that happening. It's been years since I last played this game, but I believe Monica just went back to the future. The thing about Max's mom is true, but nowhere is it ever hinted at that Monica dies...

Also... Monica even comes back to the present after you do a few floors in the bonus dungeon after the end of the game, so she never leaves your party forever.		2009-01-25 00:23:00

I haven't played Dark Cloud 2 in a while but I'm pretty sure this happened...

Monica comes back when you enter Zelmite Mine in the bonus chapter. She appears when you fight Metal Flotsam.		2009-01-25 00:28:00

Hmmm really? i think i still have the game guide for it... I will go check just so i can calm everyone's nerves here. Ok i am back and I have an answer

Monica does come back! sorry about that, but she still did die, its just that she went on a time traveling joy ride and is now back. She comes back after the 4th area of the dugeon called "Evil Bat Invasion" (told you I had the guide, its just that it was only 1 or 2 senteces that they mention it in the guide so i think i might have missed it, either that or i did not understand it at the time.)

I think someone was playing Dark Cloud when they came up with those. I always loved how you had to collect the little meatballs in the dungeons in Dark Cloud.		2009-01-25 03:31:00

Not that I want to deceive you but right it sadly isn't coming out anywhere so far. So yeah, it's not coming out in the US.
