A huge thank you to all the talented creators out there who keep producing these gems and thank goodness for holidays which give everyone extra time for creating! Well, Yu-kamone has done it again, and with style. It has always amazed me how creators can make a beautiful looking level so deadly. This environment that you've encroached upon is a unique blend of fun and danger that only Yu-Kamone can dream up. With challenging obstacles and cool contraptions and the ever present danger below, you'll have a blast visiting this Zap-tastic platformer.What can I say about about a Yu-Kamone Platformer that everyone already knows. Well I will sum up my review with one simple word. ----------------------- SupercalifragilisticeELECTROdocious------------------------- Kudos to you Kamone for a Flawless Platforming Design and contraptions, coupled with Stunning Visuals that compliment ever so nicely. Lol, yes, we are rather kicking at an open door in recommending this aren’t we? Still, for the record, you should definitely give this a play if you haven’t already. With this level yu-kamone has opted for a slightly darker tone than usual. The river has a murky, sinister look and it flows through an almost dystopian landscape, littered with abandoned machinery, all slowly decaying. In fact, that whole contrast between the organic setting and the detritus of technology is very cool. Needless to say, the gameplay is as smooth and inventive as ever and there’s plenty of fun to be had in tracking down the secrets and avoiding the electrocution which lurks at every turn. Another superbly polished piece of work from a creator on top form.HEY HEY HEY HEY GUYS! isn't there anything better then a spotlight we can give yu-kamone...no anything?!?!?! sigh fine. This level is so grand n game-play and detail I don't know what else you could add. with its deadly water of electric mayhem to its fast paced platforming there is nothing you can't miss out on. hunt down secrets in this graveyard of machinery as you try to get score combos in order to get the top score. This level is ingenious in every-way possible. Chase the witch over many many troubles!! 幼なじみの彼女が魔女にさらわれた！幾多の困難を乗り越えて魔女の跡を追え！ LBP1のステを焼き直すつもりがぜんぜん別のものに。しかも半分しか収まらなかった！後編は鋭意制作中と いう事にしておきます。 No 3D glitches !! music by Pandaz Every now and then a level, or series of levels, comes along with such an immersive, rich story line, that you lose all track of time. This is such a series. I'll not spoil the story for you, but just sum up my experience. Traveling this land, I had a real sense of wonder and awe as I encountered numerous characters and environments. The gameplay makes a very solid platformer and at key moments, new areas, new play mechanics, etc, I kept wondering, "what's going to happen next?" Then you encounter a boss and wow, is he creepy. How do I beat this guy!? Stay focused and you'll be fine...for now. Beware, Beware or this Witch will cast a curse on you , that has no cure. This isn't any ordinary curse, this is the curse of the "I can't get enough of this level" so much to talk about here. The character designs immediately left me picking my jaw from off the floor. The artistry left me ga-ga. Now some may say "what about the level itself, besides the characters?" Well I would have to answer like this "The design was immensely engaging, coupled with beauty and danger, and a wicked boss battle to further stir the cauldron. Kudos to a-tziluth The title "Witch of Roses" says it all – danger and beauty going hand in hand. This has got to be one of my favourite levels so far this year. It's just stunning - the landscape, characters and storytelling are wonderful and everything is on such a grand scale. The witch is beautiful (that mirror got it wrong imho), the first boss you encounter took my breath away when I first saw him and as for the final boss, well, it’s one of those mythical beasts for which a-tziluth himself is legendary! I love the artistry and imagination a-tziluth brings to his levels and he has a real talent for working gameplay seamlessly into the story too. Spellbinding in every way.Well what do we have here. Wow this looks crazy! I loved everbit of this level from the intro to the scoreboard. be amazed as this story takes you on epic proportions in the rescue of a sackperson from the evil Rose Queen. I was so glad to play this masterpiece. With this levels game-play you will be impressed everywhere you go with its thick details around every corner. Should that be too much for you, you can save your progress at any stage and return to where you let off at a later date. Based on the flash game 'Shift'. Whoa! If you guys have never played this browser game, don't bother, it's been perfectly created here and in my opinion, made even better! The object is so deceptively simple, you may laugh..at first. It's like this. You enter a room and can see the exit, it's right there. Now you have to work out how to get to it. How? Well, the name of the game is "Contrast" so you have a black sackboy against a white background and platforms but can switch yourself into the black platform areas. Dang, that sounds confusing. Ok, it's hard for a hick like me to explain, just go play it, it's a blast. Oh, if you get stuck or for some reason want to return later, there is a nifty save feature. How awesome is that?Welcome to another episode of Level Recipe's with L-I-M-I. Today I will teach you how to prepare a "Contrast" Step 1.) Mix 1 part "platfromer", 2 parts "puzzle", 1 part "mini-game" with a dash of "WOWSERS", a splash of a Biorogue "Whoa!", and a Harey Carey "Holy Cow!!". Step 2) Run, Jump, and flip upside down to right side-up thru 30 mind-grinding levels & then serve on the rocks. Step 3.) Enjoy and Definitly recommend this to all your friends. Kudos to you Ali-Star Great level this just screams ineradicable use of sackbots with a hint of AWESOME! With this level you can't go wrong in this puzzle filled level of epicness, As you go through the level you try to get to the other side and get to freedom. This level will keep you on your feet as it adds game-play throughout the level as you go along the stages. Ooh, here's another one where I don't want to spoil the story for you. I guess I can say this. You are on a ship and your boring life is about to get less boring. I'm not a really a fan of LBP movies, sorry all you budding film makers out there, but I'd rather play levels than watch them. For a film to keep me captivated the way this did is truly remarkable. I sat there looking like my Uncle Cletus when he's trying to do elementary math in his head, mouth open, drool running out, and eyes glazed over. Heck, I even forgot to take a bite of my Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwich! Now you keep me from my PB&J and you've got a dang good movie. Enjoy this intro to what is sure to be an epic series.It's out FINALLY!!! I remember watching the trailer and being excited for this to come out and yes it was worth the wait. It was so awesome watching this movie that I don't really wanna spoil it for anyone. But yeah Id suggest giving this movie a go as it is as well scripted as it is presented in every-way possible. So grab some popcorn and curl up to this masterpiece of a movie.*wonders if she’ll be able to watch this intro again without an image of bio’s Uncle Cletus popping into her head* I hope so, because I most certainly will be watching it again. If you had a list of the ingredients that make a great film, then this film would have a lot those down: cool story-line and dialogue, impeccable acting, awesome special effects and music. I could go on but your time would be better spent finding out for yourself. All I'll add is that this intro really does a superb job of whetting the appetite for the upcoming series. Special thanks to Azd and supersonicpsiii ! Are you serious? I don't even know where to begin with this one. These shooters amaze the heck out of me. Here we have another prime example of a level that could easily be a stand alone game. I think Headman has created another sure to be classic. This, like his previous SHMUPS, is a hectic battle of attrition. How many enemy swarms can you annihilate and how many bosses can you conquer. Only one way to find out.Hey I thought I put in LBP2 not a shooter, your saying this is LBP2..... WOW where do I begin with this level. Everything about this level screams out insanity with epic on the side. I absolutely love these dual stick shooter type levels they are so fun and addicting I am glad I play them from time to time. From this levels boss battles to its regular shooting of enemies This level will keep you on your toes with its super action-packed goodness. Try to get top score and prove you are number 1. So go play this if your fingers are up for the dual-stick mayhem!Another amazing shooter from Headman. It has his trademark intensity and hectic gameplay as well as some stunning graphics. You won’t have a second to spare to admire all the rich colours and great details, though, because you’ll need every ounce of concentration to survive the crazy onslaughts from meteor showers and relentless waves of enemies. Entertainment Weekly says, "this game is a masterpiece!" Chung Lee's Take Out says, "Eh, I've played better." --- Playable with the regular controller and the Move. Up to 2 players can play. Specials thanks to Phiru9 for the music and a_robot_olo__olb for the font. I tell ya, I love these hidden object levels, I love 'em I say! You'll quickly find that this one is much different than other ones you may encounter. For one, it has an animated opening sequence that is just cool. Another thing is that he has introduced a new gameplay mechanic here. Normally, you find everything in the scene and then move on to the next one. Not here though. Here, you locate an item then are whisked to another scene to find an item and so and so forth. Oh, and also, it's a race! So prime your peepers and get to huntin' those objects.I have played GreenSmurfy's hidden object levels before but this is his best yet. With its menu to its ending everything is beyond par in this exciting level of hidden goodness. Even though I skipped two turns I still think I did fairly well hunting down em pictures. I just loved how Green did it in this great level. If you are one of those people who love these hunt and find levels give this one a go it's worth the play.A very polished and appealing hidden objects level. The intro adds a lot of charm and the gameplay is well designed and enjoyable. You can either play alone or race one of your friends to be the first to find each hidden sticker. OR *cough* you can play it alone first and then against a friend…who won’t stand much chance because you already know the location of all the stickers…what do you mean, devious? Music@Taxok20 Thanks@yuichi580321 @Usagi-12 Yu-Kamone!? Again? How..when..I don't even know. Yu-Kamone is a level building machine. I picture some sort of contraption in the basement and Yu-Kamone looks like a mad scientist and holds up a jar of "wind logic" and tosses it into the machine, then holds up a box labeled "awesome contraptions" and pours it in. Then comes a test tube of "danger" followed by a bucket labeled, "visuals." Then a giant lever is pulled and the machine roars to life, sputtering smoke and sparks and all sorts of clanking and clunking. Then it is raised to the roof where lighting strikes the coils and travels through the machine, down a wire and into the PS3 where a level is magically appears and Yu-Kamone yells, "it's alive! It's alive!" --ooh, got a little sidetracked there, um, this level is of course awesome. It's kind of a continuation of Stormy Valley so go play it now!BIRDS!!!!!!! This level is so wonderful what can you not have in here. Throughout the level you should take a look at the beautiful scenery as the presence of birds just adds to the flow of things around and about. Yu-Kamone just makes everything perfect like he usually doe's in his platformers. What isn't to love here as you launch yourself and I am not making this up. Out of a birds mouth!!!! The whole level is put together nicely, and don't forget those secret bubbles. Try to collect them all and get top score. So go check this flock of fun out when you can. Everyone has their own style when writing reviews, everyone writes differently, everyone uses different terms, some people use puns, sometimes people use certain words to the extent of... er... being a catchphrase of sorts. *ahem* As an example; I always try not to use a creator's name, but dang it and woah, I just have to this time; Yu-Kamone always seems to present, with gusto, original ideas that tend to blow me away. This level is indeed another breath of fresh air, with some very well laid out game mechanics that will have you floating on air with their sheer simple natured-ness, but their depth will have you grasping for air by the time you reach your goal. Great, platforming and character design means that you should flock to this level as fast as you can. But with their sights set on global domination, they have founded new leaders and members. Their most recent activity has been detected high into the stratos in a space frigate known as Steamjunk. Detective Sack is in route to investigate. Music by @RickRock_777 and @O165_Vivaldi-NL. Finally! The tale of the Dark Three United continues! If you're a fan of Shookie's like me, then you are familiar with this sinister trio and how we defeated them in the past. Here, we've tracked them to this space frigate and must investigate the craft to see just what their intentions are. The design of the vessel is pretty cool in that it's a perfect blend of modern and old school cool. The gameplay is a healthy variety of fresh ideas and neat contraptions to encounter. Shookie has also provided diverse ways to use the different power-ups found throughout the area. I cannot wait for part two, as I really want to get my hands on these guys and destroy their plans for world domination.With this level Shookie proves yet again that there’s a lot more to the creatinator than being a weapon for killing zombies (sees bio twitch at the mere mention of the word zombie ). From being a handy headlamp at the start of this level it soon progresses into a tool which allows you to defy gravity for a brief 2 seconds – an excuse for some awesome timing based platforming. I had a blast soaring high and hoping to reach safety before my 2 seconds were up and I came crashing down onto some lurking spikes/fire. Add some jetpack and paintgun action and you have a level that makes rich and varied use of power ups. The backdrop for all this action is a space frigate with some very cool steampunk machinery and decoration. I can’t wait to see how the story develops in Part 2 and I’d love to see more of the platforming in the dark when we get to tackle the DTU once again. Well lets begin this steam-punk style level that uses power-ups so well in terms of game-play and physics. I was absolutely blown away in this epic adventure. In this level you will be going across various platforming elements to infiltrate a enemy base to stop the world leaders of an evil organization. I was so excited for it to be me that was doing this but in reality id probably be hiding behind my couch at home. This level will keep you glued to the edge of your seat. Say what I have to wait for part 2! This is the first ever Japanese music collaboration and it is quite amazing. Before you even get to the music, there is an opening cinematic that shows all those involved, in character form. The artwork of these characters is really cool and some of them are downright adorable. Wait. Did I say "adorable?" Ok, Bio doesn't say things like that! I say, "Whoa, cool!" Anyways, we get to the music and see that it's showcased in a most unique way. Now, as if that wasn't enough, nearly all the songs come in tow or three different versions. You have the original score and a remix version as well. Neat! This is a fantastic gallery that should not be passed up. Head in there and collect some great tunes today!This is such a cool project. As bio says the opening cinematic which introduces you to each of the members of the team is absolutely charming (ya, I don’t do “adorable” either !) and I really liked the very collaborative feel of the level in that with many of the tracks you get not just the original melody but an arrangement and remix by other members of the group. It was wonderful being given an insight into a completely new world of music creators such as Taxok20, for example, whose music has recently been used in levels by both yu-kamone and Snake_Owl. There's some great music on display here and this gallery really is worth checking out.Well what do we have here a music gallery hmmmm OMGAWD CUTENESS SEIZURE (hey at least I can admit it I love cuteness there I said it). This gallery is so well done in presentation and its controls you got the original songs then you got remix versions so you have plenty to listen to. you can collect em well ill just be adding these to my collection. I am glad this group has brought out a awesome gallery for us to see and play. While the machines and explosives still remain, the miners themselves have vanished but never returned home... One Player Only - Can you find the 8 secrets in this level!? Proud member of the Ghost Creators and LBPC! Having being spun, flung and catapulted from pillar to post (all in a very dignified way, of course ) in his fast paced Mines of Boreas platformer, I was expecting something similar in Arastoph’s new underground level. But it’s a different experience altogether with the focus more on solving puzzles and working your way through a positive labyrinth of tunnels and caves. The caves are littered with explosives and ingenious contraptions and you’ll have your work cut out to get through in one piece as some are positively evil (I’m looking at you, spikey wheel of death!). The scenery is superbly detailed and the whole dark, subterranean world of dank, water-filled caverns is genuinely atmospheric, even claustrophobic at times. You’ll have a blast solving the puzzles, crawling through pipes and riding on mine carts and for any completists out there *cough* there’s an added challenge in bagging some pretty hard to get secrets. An absorbing underground adventure awaits so grab that hard hat and get playing. You won't regret it - this is a superbly well designed level and one that deserves a lot more plays.Why was this place abandoned? It is so cool down here! I'm frolicking around and everybody probably left because of a poison gas leak or something, but I don't care. It's fun! There are so many different elements to this level that I was quite surprised that I didn't encounter a level link or two. What I did encounter, was a brilliantly designed level with great gameplay. It's like an exploration level, a puzzler and a platformer, all mashed together to form this great experience. There are many nooks and crannies to explore for hidden points, there are numerous puzzles to figure out in order to progress (not too difficult though) and fun bouncing, grappling goodness. The level of detail here is astounding too as everywhere you look is just chock full of eye candy. Man, just a great level to play again and again. Queue it up.This level is so well done with its mine like atmosphere and its incredible detail around every way. Its brilliant puzzles and platforming combined together just makes it that unique of a level that it's just golden. I loved every inch of this level and I am sure you will as-well. As you are running about the level be sure to take a close eye around as their are secrets to get awesome prizes at the end. ( Buttons R2 = SlowTime , L1 = Fly on magic paths ) Thanks to Omier, Doktervintij, Raptor42694, steve-big-guns, ( music by Doktervintij check music gallery ) I almost feel like a superhero playing this level or maybe even a certain prince from a certain desert land, hmm, hmm? Well, there is no beautiful princess to save, but there is a beautiful environment to explore. Here, we have an open and atmospheric level where you just want to stand and stare in awe. To get through this platformer you have been given different abilities such as the wall jump, flight and the slowing down of time itself. Master these gifts and you'll soon see all that this level has to offer.The first thing that strikes you on entering this level is the flood of gorgeous golden light – you can practically feel the warmth of the sun on your skin. Then the scale and beauty of the architecture hits you and you know that whatever else, it’s going to be pure pleasure exploring this temple. That the gameplay is also very cool comes, therefore, as a bonus. As the mysterious hero of this tale you have special powers including the enviable ability both to fly and to slow down time. Combining these mechanics with the currently popular wall jumping was a great move by D4RKSM0K3HUNT3R and makes this level genuinely stand out. A beautiful level and a joy to play.Well what do we have here. This reminded me of Prince of Persia when I started playing and gave me a strange craving for chocolate milk. I absolutely loved how this level was as I played through it's atmosphere. From it's slow down time game-play to its wall jumping platforming you will never get enough from this level. As you go through this level try to collect the many gems scattered across the level to rank up your score and try to hold the number 1 spot.
