Here I go... I started a one-man band called Anoxia, in which I make EDM, a few months ago. It was a fun pet project, but I've decided that I want to keep it going, and I think that, to do so, I'm going to need some help in the graphics department. I made a temporary logo, but I'm looking for something that looks less like a crappy MS Word font :/. Also, I haven't even designed a banner for the new One Channel YT layout. So, here's what I need: - A logo. It needs to be neon green, and as epic looking as possible - A banner for YouTube's new layout, also in a neon green style. The best I can make is a green gradient, which looks pretty stupid. If there's anybody willing to do this, just reply to this post, and know that I will love you forever . I've got some spare time this week so I'll see if I can create something for you. A couple of things though, the more info you can give me the better the final product will turn out. Firstly, do you have a specific size you want the logo to be, or shall I decide that? And as for the Youtube banner, if you could find out what size that needs to be that would be awesome. Secondly, epic and neon green isn't really a lot to go off of Are there any other colours you would like as secondary colours? Do you just want the logo to be the name "Anoxia" or would you like any specific images to be a part of the logo too? Would you like the logo to convey some type of feeling/emotion? etc, etc Try to brainstorm some ideas of what you really want, or even just describing words. As much as I wish I was I'm not a mind reader and they'll help me create what you want

Thanks for being willing to help out, man! Sorry for the lack of info in my 1st post, I'll fill you in: -The logo can be any size, that doesn't really matter. -YouTube banner size info and such can be found @ http://support.google.com/youtube/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=2972003 -Just black for a secondary color, as I'd like the logo to look simplistic in the end. -I had to think about doing Anoxia vs a logo with a picture, but... seeing as Anoxia basically means to suffocate (didn't even know it was a real word when I made the band, but I googled it like a month ago and sure enough O_o), I'd like the O to be replaced with a gas mask, sort of like the image below. http://imgs.abduzeedo.com/files/tutorials/create_gas_mask/54.png -I would like the logo to convey a sense of freedom, and the right to party. I decided this when I realized that EDM is mainly used at raves, and well, parties . Not sure how you're going to convey that one, but I know you'll do fine -Try adding some smoke effects in the banner to convey a sense of suffocation. If it doesn't look good then just leave it out, as its just a thought. All right, I think that covers pretty much everything. If there's any other question you have though, I'd be happy to answer them. Thanks again for the help!

Yes and no. I know what I want to do but work has been keeping me from actually sketching it out, working 2 jobs means working irregular hours. I have a 4 day weekend this week though, so expect to see something tomorrow

Besides this is more fun than the design work I actually get paid to do, I've just spent the last 2hrs rearranging text on 20 documents, they've all started to blur together.

Didn't get as much time as I thought I would to work on this today, so it's pretty rough around the edges at the moment (I got especially lazy with the smoke), but here's what I have so far. I decided to go literal with the green using actual green neons for the text, and have the gas mask breathing in the neon gas from the broken tubes. And for the rest of the area that won't contain the logo I thought it could be a subtle repeating pattern of neon tubes and smoke. I'll have to start on that tomorrow though since it's past midnight here already

Ill say it now - both of the logos introduced so far are BAD@$$. One one hand, Ayneh's logo looks very professional and well done. On the other hand, I like the concepts in SR20DETDOG's drawing (and understand that is a WIP, of course), such as the O being the front of the gasmask and inhaling the waste, making said O centered, and the bright neon (vs Ayneh's slightly darker look). Oh, and I love the smoke gas mask by arbiekko, but Im wondering how it would fit in if the other letters were neon. EDIT:As for the eyes of SR20DETDOG's gas mask, I think that simply making them glow green would work. EDIT2: I kept you up till past midnight, SR20DETDOG? Dang, now I feel guilty D:

Base fee of $180 + $40 for concept art + $60/hour labor (x 5 hours) + $26 for font license + opt out royalties fee of $2200 (or payable as 0.3% of associated venue income per instance for one year)... carry the one... Lol at arbiekko, you scared the living heck outta me for a sec there . I relly do wish I had money to pay you guys with, but Im a 13 year old kid making music in his bedroom "studio", not a rich and famous producer (how I wish :/). I will, however, give everybody who worked on a logo free downloads of my music when (if?) I start selling it, and shoutouts on my twitter and YouTube channels. I really wish I could give you guys more, but Im not the rich man I want to be . As for the logo Im choosing, ill think about it today and say whose Im choosing later (if the person I choose could make that banner by the ways, thatd be great!). Sweet, downloads are working perfectly . Could everyone else upload hi-res versions of their logos (if possible, of course) and mockups of their YT banners? I need as much as I can get to decide which one of these beauties I'm going to choose . Also, I have a request for SR20DETDOG: could you try making those eyes glow green? It was a dang difficult decision, but I chose it because of how dynamic and unique it was (what with the letters seeping toxic gas and the mask breathing it in). Ill give a shoutout on my channel to anyone who's been a part of this - just reply to this post and tell me your YT username. Thanks to EVERYBODY for all of the hard work - people like you guys are why I love LBPCentral . Once I get the banner from SR20DETDOG, Ill apply the new logo/banner and give shoutouts. Thanks so much man, I'm glad you like it! I always like to try to convey some kind of action or movement in my work, to give some life to it even if it's only small, make it dynamic as you said. Um, I have 2 YT channels, and both have nothing on them One is my personal account which just has a few unlisted videos, so there's really no use for a shout out for that. Oh, and I noticed something slightly odd with the logo - the background, instead of being black, is a dark shade of grey (god, now I have the phrase "shades of grey" in my head).
