Not really, but I can never think of a more appropriate game-related introduction post title. I'm new here, but not new to video games. I'm a geezer who is just old enough to remember when Space Invaders and Pac-Man were new! I'm also a sucker for games that let you create content, especially since I draw both line art and pixel art (that Gilius Thunderhead sprite in my avatar is mine) in my spare time. That's why the old-school fun and creativity of LBP makes me a fan of the series. It's really been fun to see all the amazing stages that users have made for this game! All I have right now are some test stages and an item giveaway stage, but I'll get around to making a platformer one of these days. This looks like a great community of creative people and I've already queued a few levels to check out. Thanks for reading this!

Hi PrimeOp! PrimeOp...PrimeOp... seems to be a name who sounds familiar to me! Oh, now I know it! Its remembering me to Optimus Prime from the Transformers!^^ When avundcv was born, I thought that sometime he will witness the arrival of games like Space Invaders and Pac-Man and then I gave him his baby bottle!^^ Have a lot of fun here and I'm curious on platformers so don't hesitate and create one!^^ Many greetings, Jürgen^^

Welcome! Glad ya made it! I remember waiting on a plane back from visiting my brother and playing Computer Space which even beat pong out by a bit. lol So yup.. I remember Space Invaders, Pac Man, Missle Command, Galaga, Centipede etc.. when they first came out. Have fun!
