The theatre is open and you are invited. The Genesis Theatre presents a performance by ApeCheese & leowilly69 (http://lbp.me/u/leowilly69) of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “La Ci Darem La Mano” from the opera “Don Giovanni.” Liszt2008 (http://lbp.me/u/liszt2008) opens with Fr?d?ric Chopin's "Nocturne Op.9 Nr 2." CreativeBlynk (http://lbp.me/u/CreativeBlynk)is your master of ceremonies. Enjoy the show.

I got the idea to create this while singing opera in the shower, it made me laugh & I thought it'd be a funny idea for a level. The Genesis Theatre was a theatre created by Vanemiera (http://lbp.me/u/Vanemiera)back in LBP1, for a level called "Kikaiwa: The Genesis Theatre" and I always wanted to do something else in that theatre. The audience members are made up of some of my friends & acquaintances.

The Ape gives LBP another injection of Culture with this double bill, a healthy dose of Mozart & Poe for the farting & snoring horde of gadders. Excellent presentation, loved it. (Although my cameo alter ego did sneak out before the fat lady sang...he is looking rather annoyed too, far right in Avundcv's pic).

Can't wait to see what you'll do next... (maybe 'What keep's mankind alive' from Kurt Weil?)

Can't wait to see what you'll do next... (maybe 'What keep's mankind alive' from Kurt Weil?) Hah! I'm familiar with "What keeps mankind alive" from a recording by William S. Burroughs, could be a fun idea, coincidentally for a while I wanted to do a LBP short based on Burroughs' & Cobain's "The Priest they Called Him" collaboration with a bunch of noisy feedback screeching in the background. Not sure what, if anything, I might do next, this was a fun little project that came together quickly & it got me in the mood to make more levels in that same theatre but, I don't know, I'm so lazy...2013-04-09 22:17:00

I am in it, thus it is a masterpiece of unfathomable proportions.

Next challenge: Recreate The Mouse That Roared.

Yeah, Burroughs is great, with that creaky voice of his. He did a libretto & some recordings for the opera The Black Rider, with music by Tom Waits. You probably know it. If not, you should check out: 'It ain't no sin.' Interesting stuff.

Thanks for this amazing event.

I am now expecting a 20 minute lecture on either:
A) Naked Lunch
B) Gravity's Rainbow

Also appropriate is an interpretive song and dance number in lieu of an actual lecture. Do not disappoint.

It could happen, I love Burroughs, but whatever I do, I'd really like to do something that showcases CreativeBlynk's voice again--he was the host--I've known him for a while now but never heard that majestic voice of his until I was working on this level, he could read the phone book and make it sound interesting.

He would be a great narrator for Naked Lunch, specifically the Steely Dan from Yokohama Mark Three scene. 2013-04-14 04:07:00
