My sticker panel character getting stuck...

Archive: 2 posts

I'm making a level with the player being a character I made with hologram. His basic commands is to jump left and right to move. Since the character is made out of hologram it would go through anything. So I made a floor made out of hologram and put a tag on it. Then for my character, I put a compact sensor(to sense the tag when my character is touching the floor I made) and connected it to a follower(set to flee). I was happy it worked! It stopped my character from going through the hologram floor. So next I created walls so my character wouldnt go places I didn't want it to go. I applied the same logic but I named the tags and compact sensors left and right. It did stop my character from going through the wall but my character also got stuck on the area I jumped on. It wasn't what I was expecting.
For example, you create a wall out of wood and your sack boy jumps into it, your sack boy did not go through and fell down on the floor. But for my character, when ever it jumps into the wall it would just stay in the place you landed on the wall and not fall down.

Can anybody help me with this situation? I would appreciate it

Well, I do know that if you have two followers on an object active at the same time, the object will stop moving. You can only have one follower on at a time. Since you have impact sensors for the floor and both left and right walls, perhaps you're getting more than one impact sensor triggered.

Perhaps you can post some screenshots of the logic? LBP.me is the easiest way to share picture from the game.
