Co-operatech and the Siamese Snake

Hello everyone. It was over 2 years ago since I joined this site but this is actually my first time using the level showcase function.

Anyway, I'm here to showcase my newest level which centres around a contraption named the Siamese Snake. It's a wall climbing vehicle driven by 2 players co-operatively. So the vehicle requires teamwork to move to wherever you want to go.

I first created the contraption back in the beta (quite a long time ago) and I liked it so much that I decided to re-create it for the retail version.
The level I've made is a long one. When most people run out of thermometer space in a level, they usually make a part 2 or even a part 3.
However, I've ended up making a part 5. This due to the thermometer (obviously) and the size of the vehicle itself. It's a large contraption so the level's enviroment and obstacles had to be pretty big too.

Believe it or not, the level (all 5 parts) took me a ridiculously long time to get done. Mainly because I had to put it on hold on so many occasions for various reasons including patch related bugs, other games and my bad habit of procrastination.

The gameplay is of a relaxed pace which some of you might get bored with. So if you have a short attention span, then this level is not for you.
The level is designed to be playable with a friend or alone.
When you enter the level alone, a Sackbot will be your partner and you will be controlling yourself and the Sackbot in turns.

Anywho, in a nutshell: a long easy slow paced 5 part co-op level involving a large wall climbing machine and some rocky terrain plus a few hazards.
Sorry I cant get the images to display. You'll have to click the links to view them.

Thanks to those who checked it out

However, I'm a little bit disappointed that most people are reluctant to continue after the first part. Some only dip their toes into the second part and get cold feet. And the lack of feedback leaves me guessing as to why that is.

But it's better than having no plays at all so that's good enough for me.

Oh, and to those who decide to queue it, remember that the level is 5 parts long so keep that in mind when you play it. Cheers.

well, for me, it was because I played alone. I like the machine and it functions well and I like the obstacles that were laid out before me but playing alone just wasn't fun for me. By the time I reached the end of the first part, I was ready to call it a day. Excellent work on this though. I love the way it functions and the chain look is really cool.2013-04-08 19:50:00

Wow! This is a brilliant gameplay idea. The snake is absolutely great.
I agree with biorogue. I played it as single player also. Due to the camera angles it's very hard to see, where you can put the other "leg" of the snake. I think with a mate it's very cool.

Anyway, excellent level idea
