Snakes and Ladders

| Or, more specifcally STAIRS and Ladders. I've been creating a series of levels that involve you controlling a Sackbot, but the thing is that this Sackbot doesn't change layers. (I wanted to make it a lot more 2D.) One thing I've noticed though is how much of a pain it is to give Sackboy some vertical transportation-- that is, going up. Simply put: Bounce Pads. Bounce Pads everywhere. I have done other things, though... I've made elevators, bouncing platforms using pistons, Attract-O-Gel walls that you can just walk up... But I think it gets monotonous. So one thing I've been dying for is some ladders. Just the something that Sackboy can climb up, simply. Make them tweakable! Like length, or whether you're allowed to climb them from mid-air (or if you have to be on the ground before you're allowed to start climbing). And, on the topic of vertical mobility, stairs. It's such a pain to painstakingly make steps, and when you play it, you have to awkwardly jump up each and every step.
