MEDIA MOLECULE: please release the save-time pack for LBP 1 and 2

Archive: 7 posts

I've completed both LBP e LPB 2 at 100% unlocking all costumes, but last year my ps3 died and i could not recover the lbp saves (they are two of few titles that need to do a backup from the game and not from memory system..i'm disappointed about this.. why you've done so???!! )

So would be useful to buy and install a save time pack that allow to unlock instantanly all the object of the game. I saw it for the PS Vita version but not for PS3

While I'm not sure that "premium cheats" in general are a good thing, in this case it might not be a bad idea.
For various reasons I created a new PSN recently, and when I got LBP2 it was a horrendous pain to transfer my LBP1 stuff to LBP2 on another account. I wasn't bothered about my old levels, I could still get to those on my old account, but I had 100% on LBP1 and wanted to keep all the materials and costumes etc for LBP2. Eventually I managed to import the save on my new account but as a result, since I'm using "someone else's" profile, I can't get any trophies or pins. Personally, I don't care about those, but the way the system is now, I can see how a time saver pack could be beneficial. Plus more money for SCE, right?

About the way the game stores your saves, when LBP1 first came out (until yarg I believe?), LBP profiles were saved in the normal game save location. However, the save slots filled up quickly and after collecting a few community objects the game would scream at you for having too much stuff. So it was changed to the current system, where profiles are stored as "game data" or whatever it's called, rather than "save data". This meant that you could store a lot more objects etc in your profile. You can still back up your profile to a save data slot and copy it to a USB stick, external hdd, or if you have PS plus, to the cloud. You should back your profile up regularly so you don't lose too much if something goes wrong.

Also, I don't think MEDIA MOLECULE actually have much to do with LBP these days so shouting at them won't get you anywhere

tl;dr good idea

I was very unlucky when my PS3 was broken..
1) the console was affected from the yellow led of fead and if i had not adopted a temporary solution, there was no way to turn it on
2) I was able to turn it on, but the USB ports no longer worked
3) I haven't Plus

If you've never been a Plus member, there are free one month trials out there, should be enough to transfer everything via the cloud.2013-03-28 12:36:00

ok but by now the console is gone away and i can't do anything..

And what i should do in case of break of the disc reader? The profile backup option is only possibile throught the game menu
also according to some evidences, transfering the profile to another console causes the block of thropies unlockage

You could do the overlord glitch in LBP1 to get like all the prizes fairly quickly by yourself, & You could do the same on LBP2 1.00.

Or get someones save file and transfer the "0" file from the 100% save into your own save and you should have everything, and it should allow trophies to work.

Paying for something you already own is always money well spent in my book.

Just import one of those 100% saves that you can find on the internet. There's a really simple hack to reenable trophies on those if you're worried about that too, like lve said.

And whoa, Overlord Glitch is possible in LBP1? Mind elaborating on that?
