maybe u can put an extra step before a msg is reported? this noob pressed the wrong button, and reported a very sweet msg:blush: would be nice if there was a warning like: are u sure u wanna report this? before sending the report feel so embarresed now:blush: have a nice day

So messages don't have a step where you fill in a reason for the report like you get when reporting a post?

Yup.. works exactly the same. There is a dialog box and after filling out, you have to click a Report Post button. ..and even then, the staff will take a look and know better if it was a mistake. Sorry... not an issue. Locking.
