Bits of Pie: My art gallery. OuO

Archive: 7 posts

Oh hey guys! I'm sorry, but I just can't get into the PSP LBP anymore. xD
but I have arts!
I'll give you my Deviantart first though... http://bitpie.deviantart.com/

Now then... I have recently been trying to make a game, from scratch, with my friends. Two of us, me and my best friend, are learning to program with Javascript. But I digress...
I'll just post my game stuff here for now. o3o

EDIT: Ignore the attachment I did that by mistake. x3

In the year 2600, Humans on earth developed advanced technology. With this technology, the Earthlings created unimaginable machines, such as teleporters, warp drives, and laser weapons. With this technology, came great advances in science. An example of this was one particular branch, in the newly created world space program. This branch, called "The Extraterrestrial Savior and Allocator Faction"(or E.T.S.A.F.) specialized in finding planets with life across the galaxy. They mainly, however, observed the inhabitants of Life-sustaining planets, and if they felt the need to, helped the Aliens on the different planets by taking them to Settling Camps on Earth. Humans, feeling so superior, felt it was their duty to help the galaxy. However, these aliens did not get a say in anything, & none got to explain to their human "saviors" that they were perfectly fine. Whenever aliens approached the Humans with their complaints, this resulted in the humans having misconceptions of them, and and listing them as hostile no matter what. What's even worse, Earthlings took over many planets to "keep order" that was always there in the first place. Many life-sustaining planets have been evacuated of intelligent life to forcefully go to Earth and other Human stations in the solar system.
While all of this was happening, there was one planet, very small and undiscovered by Human Conquerors. On this planet, called Numuko by its inhabitants, beings known as "The Garroks" were becoming more and more advanced. They built great machines and robotic contraptions. The Garrok People were all peaceful, and built robots for everyday living and to do work for the good of their planet. All Numokians on this planet were happy, until the Earthlings finally found Numoko on their scanners. When they did, The Garrok were perfecting teleportation tachnology, and finished it when the E.T.S.A.F. Conquerors came to the planet to judge it. Humans saw the large Garrok Construct Robots, with their saw blade arms, forest clearing fire cannons, fire stopping ice busters, and grabby, tail-like appendages to grab logs and other things. The Earthlings, seeing this technology nearly equivalent to theirs, assumed that the Garrok were making the same mistake they did; creating robots to fight war and conquor their own planet. E.T.S.A.F. moved in, taking the Garrok People away, and destroying all the technology they could find. The two Garrok who discovered teleportation for their planet split the machine into its original 3 main parts, and rocketed these pieces into 3 different places in unknown lands of Numuko. These Garrokians too were taken eventually, although E.T.S.A.F. did not see the advanced transport rockets send these last pieces of technology across the planet. With the technology and its creators gone, only more primitive species of life remained on Numuko. The Garrok were considered extinct as no living thing knew where they went, and almost every piece of their tech was reduced to rubble. The rest of Numuko's intelligent lifeforms needed to go on with their lives, and keep advancing themselves over time. The Garrok had been the only sufficiently advanced lifeforms. With them gone, Numuko's advancement level went from the equivalent of Earth in 2500, to the Earth in 300.
1000 years later, a new superior race has arisen in Numuko. They are known as the Ksh'ar, and have gotten the most advanced out of all other lifeforms on the planet. Their technology, however, is only equal to that of Medieval Times on Earth. The Garrok, now long gone from Numuko and barely surviving on an unknown Solar System Station, are considered ancient, god-like figures. Many towns and villages of Ksh'ar lie scattered across Numuko. They know not to consume and drain the land of too many of its resources, and Numuko is mostly a natural land filled with many robust animals. One village, named Golrok Village, is home to a group of Ksh'ar who specialize in mining, building, metalworks, stoneworks, and smithery. Rogar, a blacksmith's son, is a young man with a knack for testing his dads weapons for customers. His dad one day sends him to go with his childhood friend, Amani, to a monster ridden cave set in a mountain near Golrok Village. After receiving a [Wooden Paddle] from an old grumpy woman to defend himself and Amani the miner. Going into the cave, he eventually gets helped by Amani and finds the rare ore they were looking for. Amani then departs back to the village swiftly, leaving Rogar in the cave. He cannot go the way she can and cannot go the way he originally did, so he finds a way up to the uppermost part of the cave. But when Rogar looks out on the village from the middle of the mountain, no one is there...

Hah, I adore your game's art and story, it's rather neat.

It especially tickles me seeing humanity as a bunch of really naive, thick-headed doofuses. 83c

Thank you! It means a lot hearing that. And yeah, about the humanity being dumb thing, that is what I was aiming for. -u-
