I recently downloaded TF2 for my PC, but when I try to connect to any type of game, it won't get past the final block of loading. I have seen the minimum specs, and I have everything on the list, but it just won't work. Does anyone know what this problem is?

How long have you waited maximum? The final blocks of the loading screen are the ones that take the most to load.

Whenever it reaches the final blocks, the game just crashes. If they are any use to anyone, my computer runs on a Intel Pentium 4, and I downloaded DirectX 9. Also, if it's just an online problem, would Garry's Mod work offline with minimum specs? Here are all the minimum specs for both games: OS: Windows? Vista/XP/2000 Processor: 1.7 GHz Processor Memory: 512MB RAM Graphics: DirectX? 8.1 level Graphics Card (Requires support for SSE) Hard Drive: 150 MB Other Requirements: Internet Connection
