All rise, Round 54 of the Caption Contest is in session! ..at least one more just for fun. Sorry Biorogue!
"What!?!?! You're crazy!! It has been over a year and a half since the last one ended and NEVER JUDGED!!" Well well well, not so fast! I am please to say it was judged, but I wanted to have another pic for at least one more round even though Bio pleaded with me not to.
So let's do this one more time for fun and for old times sakes. ...and as a surprise to my good friend Biorogue.

Round of what?!
Round of the Caption Contest! The premise is simple; whoever places the best caption on the provided LBP image wins! The caption could be a thought going through the characters' heads, or something the characters are saying, or even a short story leading up to the picture! It can practically be anything you want, as long as it's clean and abides by the forum rules.

NOTE: Humor is the only way to win!

Each round a new picture will be posted and you have at least a month (or longer since we like to have lots of entries as well as need more time for a new pic) before the thread is locked for judging.

Rules:


Only two captions per user (you do not have to post both at the same time).



Image editing/manipulating (Photoshopping/GIMP-ing) is allowed.



Post the pictures on this thread. Yes.. they have to be pictures with your captions enclosed.. not just words on a post.
Image needs to be around the same size as the original for legibility. Smaller ones will be accepted, but if they cannot be read and you cannot fix your entry, then it will be horribly hard to judge and probably will not win. More then welcome to get with me to give you help, plus I have a handy how to up above!


PLEASE AVOID ATTACHMENTS! They are either too small or I cannot archive them easily. Sometimes they work fine, but more times than not I have to struggle with them.


Awards: (except for round 50 where all 3 pic winners were given 500xp)


Winning Caption -the best caption gets this. [250 xp]



Second Place - second best caption. [100 xp]



Third Place - third best caption. [50 xp]



Consolation Prize - this award goes to the caption that didn't get an award, but was still very good(this may not be handed out every time). [20 xp]

Woo Hoo! 2nd Place! Thanks! I..I...I just don't know if I can bring myself to do another one. over a year to judge. But....looking at the picture is bringing some ideas. I'll get back to you. Keep the thread open and June 2014 I'll submit my entry, I figure that's when it's going to be judged anyway. :/ I keed, I keed. Love ya man, you know that. Alright, I'm in. Just glad to see it back and hopefully it will NOT be the last one or if it is YOUR last one, that maybe you'll pass the proverbial torch to someone.

lol.. I have that listed in the rules on the first page.

First host the image on something like photobucket etc.

Basically used the image icon and select "from URL" and un-check the "Retrieve remote file and reference locally".

..and please do not double post. Simply edit your last post and add the addition.

I have some handy dandy notes in the instructions... no one ever reads those.. lol

All you have to do is put the image on photobucket or some other hosting site. Then use the image tool, the one that has the tree on it and select the URL, plop in the url to your image, and UNCHECK the "Retrieve Remote file and reference it here".

Hosting it here or simply add as an attachment (direct from your computer) makes the image very very small or just a silly link to a small image.

I made the original huge to give everyone lots of room and to be able to see all the glorious insanity that make up the caption contest photos. I have an HD PVR and use that to capture the image. Images that large hosted directly here and re-sized horribly small.		2013-05-04 13:15:00

If you take it and move it to photobucket or many others and, you can add a caption. You need to host it somewhere anyway to post it here and many of those places allow for photo editing, adding captions etc.
