I'm surprised this hasn't come up before. (Or if it has, it's been a long time.) Especially considering that the cell phone is the everyman's gadget.

What's playing on your phone when people call? Music, a noise, what?

For example, mine (http://www.xenocoder.co.uk/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2007/01/mgscodeccall.wav). Should be very familiar to all of you.

Mine's the Mighty Morphing Power Ranger's watch call thing, when Zordon(?) calls the power rangers and it's like little beeps.

Lmao, i didn't even listen to yours but i looked at the link. mgscodeccall. Mines the same! LOL. Also i have the alert '!' as a message tone. It's SO loud though. Once i went into a lecture and it went off as i was sitting down. This totally wierd guy turns round and goes' OH NOEZ I'VE BEEN FOUND!'.

My phone has been on quite (read: not silent) ever since.

I might have to get that codec call and alert sounds for calls and texts. Right now I just have the Sci-fi ringtone that comes with the iphone, but I have a call-back tone (what plays for the person when the call you instead of the normal ringing). well my voyager has some sweet ringtones that came with it, theres an asian one which is my favorite, and there are some other cool ones that you wouldnt expect to come on a phone, other than that i have sanford and sons and a couple others2009-01-24 22:19:00

Meh, my phone has a restriction on it which makes it hard to get free ringtones, I found a great website which will send me free ringtones(Phonezoo.com), though, so it's all good now. Right now my ringtone is an excerpt form Time is Running Out by Muse.2009-01-24 22:36:00
