You won't see any specific changes, but there's a new way to search for specific creators that you should probably be aware of. Click through for the whole article. ------------------------- Following this morning's server maintainance we're introduced a very small update to the way that search works which should make finding a specific level far easier. When entering search text add the @ symbol before the name of the creator you're looking for. You'll still get close-match search results, but the first level you are directed to will match the username exactly. Please note this only works in searching for creators, but once you've found the right creator you can sort through their other levels easily. For example, if you wanted to find a level I'd created you'd enter @Sam_Protagonist in the text search and you'd find a level I'd created (except you won't because I'm still working on my magnificent level). This is absolutely awesome and dumb at the same. On one side it's excellent for the search effectiveness. On the other side it's dumb to not make this clear for Mr. Everybody. (mainstream LBPers will learn this only later, through word of mouth.)

It's because when you program a search, you make so the exact match comes out on top. If they knew how to make a search it would have been like that and we would never have problem or seeing this news about a pseudo new feature. I love love love LBP but Media Molecule is one of the wierdest game dev i've ever seen. They really are planning and making their things in a odd way.

what i would like to see is to be able to see search results in in a list form with the ability to use sorting keys. I know they like the planet scheme becuase its little big planet, but really when your looking through your hearted levels or any basic search it is really quite a mess.

Nice feature but is it very user friendly to newcomers? Someone who's just bought the game should be able to find this feature more easily.

I'll agree tht it is kinda odd they way they do it, but they sure did make a good game, and i haven't had the game to long so i'm still new to most of this so all finding serten things lyk creators wasn't rly much of a factor to me so maybe thts a reason y they didn't mention it cause maybe they thought they didn't rly think it matter all to much.
