Two Much of a Goo Thing
Archive: 11 posts
So here is my next level! Time to hone your goo gun skills again in my long awaited sequel to The Goo Refinery. An all new setting with all new gameplay for the most part. This time around there will be areas where you will need two shots of goo. Medium difficulty. Please 1 player only! Music by Comishguy67. Thanks. Any feedback would be great! I would say it's in the queue but I just got through playing it and it is marvelous. Once again, you've got a great level here. The aesthetics of the level are very drool worthy. I loved the overall design and the gameplay is terrific as well. Great job brother! Love it. https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-OR6fTeI8EDw/TySWVJINsPI/AAAAAAAABR4/aSEUWR2RrpU/s413/APPROVED.jpg | 2013-03-11 05:31:00 Author: biorogue Posts: 8424 |

Just played it now, and loved it loads I really liked the way you designed it, with each obstacle next to each other with no lull in gameplay. It was a bit short but i guess that was to do with the thermo. Great work man! If i had thumbs i would have two of em up for this level | 2013-03-11 15:43:00 Author: RtooDee2 Posts: 175 |
I thought this level was great. Had lots of fun playing this. Even works pretty great with multiple people inside, yup I know it says 1 player but couldn't resist showing some friends. | 2013-03-11 19:35:00 Author: Unknown User |

Congrats on the pick. I got to play it today and was not disappointed. Well done and a blast to play once I got the hang of it. | 2013-03-18 05:04:00 Author: peoriaspitfire Posts: 359 |
Very good level. The combination of the use of creatinator and attract-o-tweaker made the level more fun, and the visuals are amazing with choices of materials. Excellent job, and congrats on Mm pick (Again!). PROS: +Visuals and material choices +Combination of creatinator and attract-o-tweaker +Race +The goo's variance time and restriction CONS: -None OVERALL: A yay, heart, and positive review | 2013-03-23 02:46:00 Author: JustinArt Posts: 1314 |
I liked it a lot more than your previous level. As I said before, I think this mechanic is better suited to an exploration based level rather than a platforming one, but the level is well designed. The incremental improvements to the goo gun are neat and add a lot (but again I think that would be cooler in an exploration based level where you find these upgrades, but that's me). The point bubbles occasionally get in the way of the projectiles, but I don't know how you would work around that. The level is well designed on a whole though, I just think a more open style of gameplay would better suit the level and make it more enjoyable and fun. Final trivial complaint: the visuals were well done, but they don't really stick out. Some of your other levels have tons of personality when it comes to visuals but this one is kinda run of the mill factory themed. stupid bonner star joke / stupid bonner star joke | 2013-03-23 18:16:00 Author: bonner123 Posts: 1487 |
