Hello to anyone interested in weird sequential reactions!
I will be hosting a Rube Goldberg Competition on LBP2!
The contest will start by Friday March 8th.

I encourage anyone to enter, even if you think you may not win. Anyone, even a new person to little big planet could enter and win.

For those of you who don't know what a Rube Goldberg Machine is.
A Rube Goldberg Machine is a machine built to do a simple task with many complicated steps.
Example:The task is to turn on a light switch. I'm sitting in a chair at home and there's a desk beside me. I knock over a domino which follows in a line of dominoes down a ramp. At the end of the ramp is a mouse trap which is set off by the last domino. There is a string attached to the mouse trap which is connected to a pulley. The other end of the string is attached to the light switch. Since the mouse trap is on the floor and the light switch has to be pushed up, the pulley is suspended above the light switch. The mouse trap is set off, and the string pulls the switch up. The light has turned on.

Details: Your machine must have a minimum of 25 steps and be less than 4 minutes long. That means the machine can not be 4:00 or 4:01 long. Any machine over the time limit will be disqualified. In order to establish when the machine starts, there must be some sort of sign. Such signs can be, a noise, a light turning on, or the very first thing to move.

Rules: Each step must set off another step. That means that ALL items incorporated in setting off a step must be shown. Buttons and switches can be used, BUT the cables MUST be shown or the machine will be immediately disqualified. You will be given 2 items that you must include in some way in your machine. The two items will count as two steps if used to set off another step.

Wrong Way: A set of dominoes is knocked over. A ball is at the end of the dominoes but they do not touch each other. After the dominoes fall over, the ball "Randomly" moves because of a mover.
Right Way:A set of dominoes is knocked over. A ball is at the end of the dominoes. The last domino hits the ball and the ball moves.

Wrong Way:A button is connected to a ball. The button is pushed and the ball rolls. Since the cables are visibly connected to the ball it is still considered to be legal. WRONG! The movement must be logical.
Right Way:A button is connected to a ball. A mover is shown on the ball. The wires from the button to the mover are shown. The button is pushed and the ball rolls. That is legal.

By Friday, I will have the competition posted into the forums with more requirements and the objective.

PRIZES
First, Second, and Third place will receive prizes and will be published in a level containing winners for competitions. First place will ALSO have a choice of 1 of their levels to be broadcasted in the Gallery of Winners. Fourth place will be also recognized in the Gallery of Winners. Each place will receive a different prize. Fourth place will only be recognized in the Gallery of Winners.
Please leave a comment inferring that you will possibly enter.
I will not host this competition unless there are at least 5 competitors.

Edits: You will be given 2 items that you must include in some way in your machine. The two items will count as two steps if used to set off another step.
All of the logic in your machine must be shown. If your logic is not shown, your machine will be put under WITCHCRAFT. WITCHCRAFT is the random movement of objects. An example would be a ball moving without anything on it. The ball was moving by a mover. An easy fix to not be disqualified is to simply show the logic on the ball. Logic that doesn't need to be shown are cameras or counters that are on an object to keep an output on. Nothing can be put in microchips unless it involves music, sound, or any of the legal logic.
