Need help with error: C2-12828-1

Archive: 5 posts

*PROBLEM FIXED* *Please lock*

Recently, I've been having a problem with LBPVita (physical version) that whenever I try to start up the game, a error message apperars and I'm forced to close the game.
It appears as such:

An error has occured in the following application.
(C2-12828-1)
LittleBigPlanet Playstation Vita

It appears when it tries to connect to PSN (if i'm online) or when the sony presents message appears (if I'm offline).
I've tried:

-Restarting the system.
-Rebuilding the database.
-Removing and inserting the memory stick.
-Launching game in flight mode.
-And some other stuff...

I think the problem is that the save file is corrupted (since I can play with if I have no updates or save files), but I'd like to find a better solution other than deleting my save file .

I have a great deal of experience with this issue. Its plagued me since LBPV's release. Unfortunately there is no simple established fix.2013-03-05 13:44:00

But what did you do? Did you delete your save file?
Because this happens everytime I try to start up the game...

There was only one time where my data seemed to be compromised entirely. Wouldn't let me start the application. Just the way the issue came about though i was skeptical that my save data was actually the cause. I uploaded my save data to the cloud. Might even work just by backing it up to PC. Deleted the app and let it reinstall. re-downloaded my save data from PS+ and it started up just fine.
This C2-12828-1 is an issue in itself. It came to the point where i had to upload my data to the devs at DBL11 for inspection and debugging.

I already did something similar to that, not sure if it would have mattered if I used PS+ cloud or not.
I backed up the game into my PS3, deleted it on my Vita, installed it again, played it with a fresh new save (and no updates) and it worked.
Then I deleted it again, transferred the game back from my PS3 (since Vita seems to save the game updates/installation/save all in one file, but the error appeared again...

Edit: I no longer need help, the new update (1.08 ) has fixed my problem! Thanks anyway for the help!
(Please lock this, because it seems there's no way to lock it myself?)
