I know there are other people who are quite upset with the same problem...Cool Page Spammers. Yes, I'm talking about the people who basically copy and paste other levels and end up getting tons of plays. Don't get me wrong, a lot of the levels on the Cool Page are quite awesome, but I see the same ones more and more. My true question here is: "How do I get past these 'spammers' and manage to get my level 'out there'?" I was told in one level to advertise my level on here, but so far I have not seen anyone do the same. I really want people to see my level because I feel like I published it for no reason if no one can see it. This topic probably pops up on here a lot, but I was too lazy to check before posting this so sorry. Thanks to those who can help.

yet another thread about the cool pages. :/ I was told in one level to advertise my level on here, but so far I have not seen anyone do the same. post your level in the Level showcase (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?40-Level-Showcase) and people will play it. Not saying that you'll get a ton of plays, but if you use the feedback 4 feedback system, you may get some good feedback for it. Before doing that though, check out this handy guide to posting your level to maximize getting people to notice it. This topic pops up all the time. Once again I will say the same thing I say to every single one that does bring it up. Ignore them!! Cool pages mean nothing. You are all fighting over the top slab of stuff floating on a huge cesspool. Say what?! Yup.. you heard me... it means nothing. The demographic of all that plays this game is from very young to quite old. The ones that really appreciate and love the pain sweat and blood of those that raise the bar and produce really awesome levels are quite small in relation to those that have no other knowledge of what they are doing than having a hunk of junk near a pile of bubbles that are right next to the scoreboard. 5 year old's love it. So what do you do? Well... post your level in the Level Showcase and get some great feedback on improving your level and you as a creator. Take advantage of the F4F (feedback for feedback) option and post a great level thread. Feel free to check out any of mine for what a really good thread looks like. Great description, lots of pictures and really sell your level. After you post your level.. then go and play ever other level you can find in the Level Showcase, take great notes, and leave really well thought out detailed and helpful feedback for each on of those levels. ...then and only then, request to visit your level thread to honor their F4F request. How the heck is that going to help? Well... you can get quite a bunch of like minded creators playing your level and giving you excellent advice on how to improve. Plus you start to make friends with those other creators and build a network of serious minded creators. ...and if you level is really really good, you might land an LBPC Community Spotlight which is the cream of the crop concerning levels here posted by all the LBPC members in a given two week period. Ignore the cool pages... they mean absolutely nothing. Some think because they get massive amounts of plays... by who? Other folks that think a crappy level is "oh so awesome?". Who wants that!?!? ...now make a level thread. Do it! Do it NOW!! (wish I had a nickle for every time I have written that wall of text for one of these threads. )
