Hello community!

Hello everyone,

First section is introduce, so lets make a start here...

Mijn real name is Jeroen (Mokum_GTT as PSN name), I'm an old fart (LOL) with the age of 38 years old, live in Holland and I got a passion...... LBP<3
I've been playing LBP 1, 2 and kart, but 2 is my favorite. I can spent many hours searching and playing levels in de community and enjoy every part of it. Platformers is my favorite choice in there.

Builders like Lockstitch (http://lbp.me/u/Lockstitch) , Joebraesl (http://lbp.me/u/Joebraesl) and yu-kamone (http://lbp.me/u/yu-kamone) (and more) are really appreciated by me. I played all their levels and some of those are mindblowing.

I wish I could make something like that, have tried, but looks impossible to me. Untill now... I discovered this website with a lot of info, tutorials and more. Really hoping to meet nice people in here to play with and share advice to start creating.

Recently I bought the muppet level pack (which is awsome btw) and today my first move controller-kit will get connected to start moving

I'm a bit of a geek, i want to get all prizes (need more good players to get those btw), have watched youtube video's of lvl tutorials how to get it, but didn't manage to get the prizes with 4 players yet.
I have tried, but olmost everytime people run and jump trough the levels without communicating and everything turns into a disaster (in my case LOL).

So any serious LBP gamer can add Mokum_GTT on PSN and hopefully we will have some fun in the future. Voice communication i prever, so co?peration gets to its maximum. But a good keyboard will do the trick as well.

Hoping to get a lot of friends in here to play/create with.

Friendly regards,

Jeroen

Hi Jereon and welcome to LBPC
I too am a prize bubble fanatic
I not only play for fun but I also go crazy over bubbles and acing every level I play. It's difficult to ace with multiple players but it is a fun challenge. As far as Prize bubbles go - I try 200% to get every one in every level(community levels included). I should change my name to 'prize-bubble-nut'
Anyway, enjoy the site and I hope to see you online for some adventures
Cheers

The Level Showcase (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?40-Level-Showcase) area is the place you want to go to make a thread about your level. We have an optional F4F (feedback for feedback) system where you tell others to check out your level, come back and give feedback/suggestions and you'll do the same for them. It's a valuable system that is underused here. Be sure to use the LBP.me tool (the white bell in a blue box icon) http://www.lbpcentral.com/images/lbpme.png this will pull your level info from LBP.me and place it in the thread for you. NOT WORKING RIGHT NOW
Before posting your awesome creation in the level showcase, please read this handy dandy guide. It will help your get more attention to your thread and your level. WoW :hero: what a responce and the evening is just getting started LOL

Thank you all for your welcomes and tips. I went to the helpsection already and found a whole list of video tutorials in the sticky post. Awww man.. my head is bouncing LOL

Guess i just got to start simple, all those things about sequencers, inputs and all other terms make me feel like i'm a noob LOL (as a matter of fact i am really)
For now i just admire your creations and go to the LBPCentral Spotlight to play. Every level i play, makes me inspire to make something myself.
One thing i know about myself is, when i got my mind set to something i will go for it, so bye bye spare time.. Looks i'm gonna play/create a lot with you all

Regards,

Jeroen

Once you get enough experience with those things, though it's not that hard. In fact it's a lot simpler than any sort of programming in code. It helps to go through all the tutorials, and it helps to invite people on from LBPC in your game to show you how the logic works. I remember making my Vs. stage "Ancient Balls of Fire" and not knowing how to make the score until someone joined me on the forum to help with the programming. I've also had some folks add to the decorations for my machinima sets. Just be sure to heart me on lbp.me and send us a message if we see you online. I'll be glad to pass on what I learned from others.2013-02-26 18:00:00

Hello and welcome to the site!

Guess i just got to start simple, all those things about sequencers, inputs and all other terms make me feel like i'm a noob LOL

You and me both, I can make a level look good. How they work though, no idea, I have people for that.

As for now i just admire your creations and go to the LBPCentral Spotlight to play.

I hear there are some hard working people on the Spotlight Crew *COUGH*
So you're sure to find some good levels.

Sorry to bump this, but i think its time for a little update and i dont have a clue where to put it, Better bump this up rather then making a new topic where modderators need to clean up my mess LOL.

It have been a few weeks now and i must admit, the logic isnt that hard. I had some great help from Junbugbx and Cradle2grave making my own level (not published yet, still working on it). Als loads of help from the tutorials in this forum.
Now i can programm sackbots (moving, behaviour, talking, killing and all those funny stuff), implement sounds on movers and a lot more..

Right now i am working on a platformer level where i try to make something nice and meanwhile learning the logic. I think i did have put 20 hours in it so far (i'm a slow student) but it has some very cool things in it imho.
When this level is done, i will ofc post in it the showcase and from then (when i understand all the logic) I am planning to make some more with a story line in it... i got plenty ideas in my head, only need to tranfer them to an active project

I play lbp since the beginning and this community gave me the inspiration to do some creations.. I wanna thank you for that.

That's all for now.

Regards,

jeroen
