Remembering our LBPC roots

Archive: 25 posts

Considering I just realised I have been at this site for 2 years now, I remember how it all started for me on this site and just thought how much I have experienced just for sticking around for a bit but as well as this I know I missed a lot and that you guys probably have some awesome experiences on here that you would be willing to share with all of us, if you want you can say some of your favourite moments on this site or your first friend etc.

This thread is just about going all nostalgic and remembering the good times we have had the pleasure to experience with so many other people, we have had to watch people leave and new ones come in, we have cracked jokes at each other and sometimes talk about the more serious matters in life but through all these good and hard times we have managed to do one thing.....

Be kind to each other! Thanks a lot in my experience to the guys that made up the original PSP section of the site because you guys really got me into this site.

Anyone else want to talk about their time here?

Favourite moment: LBP3 BETA thread. Never laughed so much because of something on the internet, worth the 2 week ban.

EDIT: On another note, wow this site has become really inactive.

I remember what i started with! It's even in my signature... my PSP level Patchin' Yo Patchwork. Schark was thinking it was a patch for the outdated PSP edition of LBP... the level got around five stars, and great feedback! It's from 2010 if i'm right.

Then there were two topics about how my PSP crashed, and i got great help from everyone, especially Diatosta at the second PSP uber-failure.
And then i made around five more levels, that for the last three other users of the PSP here were not as good as Patchin' Yo Patchwork though...

Then i moved over to the Vita after i noticed the dust and scratches on my PSP (and the really bad glitchy gameplay of LBP PSP, and improvements for LBP on the Vita), and got both my two first levels a spotlight-nod!

The LBP3 thread memories will always be in our hearts... And in some users' infractions lists...

What else? The LBP2 beta, the times when playing LBP with your friends was a daily activity, Console Wars 3, TheZimInvader's art thread, Fatal Fantasia, LBPC Group Pictures, Contests... Good times.

Your Mention of Console wars 3 brought back very fond memories of Console Wars: Blackout and how fun creating a story with others could be.

Ah yes, Profile Infraction: Excessive Spam. And a 2 week ban. Definitely worth it :&apos

But seriously, I joined LBPC nearly 4 years ago now. I feel so old

I joined... 4 and a half years ago TODAY.

Despite having no interest in LBP, and all my friends having left, and all the new friends I've made having left and all the new friends I made having left, I just can't bring myself to leave. :/

I've been around here for 2? years now and even though I haven't really been that active, I come here daily. And even though my love for LBP has faded, my love for the community hasn't. Seriously, this has to be the friendliest and most welcoming community I've ever been a part of. I know some people on here aren't too fond of me., but that is mostly my fault.

You're all awesome (:

You know, as much as I love this place, I do grow tired of it's LBP focus... I just can't get myself to leave. I love you all too much. If only there were a ps3central...

I SHOULD MAKE A FORUM! WITH A WIKI! AND A BUILT IN RPG! YEAH, RPG!

... what was I talking about? Oh, I'm just ranting.

Ungreth, ATGNAT and the Orb (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=21058-ATGNAT-Glass-orb-WTF) was hilarious, and happened around when I joined.

I originally joined because I thought you needed an account to get the Logic Pack (so useful, thanks everyone!), and about a month later saw people asking questions on the Water Beta, so I started getting in on that. Been here ever since. Had some fun times, was also at the point where every night involved getting an invite from the same people and having a great time. I think LBP will be something I always remember
