Story mode has reset, all levels locked and collectibles at 0%. All collected items are now missing from my popit. I pre-ordered the game and got the Head Start pack, but that doesn't work now. Could be a problem with the Head Start pack in v1.10, or with your save file. Can you still collect items the old way?

All my story levels are locked and I haven't tried playing them. Probably can collect the prizes, but won't - I didn't enjoy the story levels all that much the first time and I really got this game for the sake of creating. One other person on GetSatisfaction (https://getsatisfaction.com/littlebigplanet/topics/_lbpk_game_update_1_10_the_cross_compatibility_pat ch) had this problem too, seems to be an issue with some of the DLC - but no idea which.

Uh oh. That really stinks, Pookachoo. I luckily didn't have that problem, but if it IS a problem with a specific DLC, I hope you're able to figure it out! Hope you're able to re-earn all of your other goodies as well. That simply shouldn't have happened.

I bit the bullet so to speak and paid $2.99 for the Time Saver's pack - I'm trying to finish a big project for a birthday present, I haven't much time left and just needed to get on with it. This also fixed my locked story levels. And I made an interesting discovery: I now have a lot more items in my popit than I got from the Head Start pack. I'm glad to finally have a full selection of items, but also rather annoyed that I didn't get them in the first place. So I'm like but also

UGH.... I wish the DLC patch was never released.... I'm STILL being forced to sit through the 10 minute intro video again and again. It's honestly making me want to smash my PS3. I really enjoyed this game but I can't handle sitting through that intro over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. (I typed each one)

It's not just pressing the X button - it's waiting for additional loading, starting the first karting lesson and exiting the level, a long non-skippable zoom into your pod and lengthy welcome back presentation... If you're trying to create and constantly restarting because of system freezes, it's a lot of wasted time. I deleted the downloaded content for Karting and that fixed the intro problem for me. Then I re-downloaded my DLC from my transaction history.

You can actually skip the intro lesson but you cannot skip the intro video... the greedy grabby horde.............. takes too long.

No...kept saying that the data was corrupt. I deleted everything and then re-patched it...it appears to be working now, BUT it won't stop crashing.

Well I updated and couldn't see any DLC costumes in my popit. I found them in the "Store" and had to select them all to download for Karting. They were all "free." There were a few extra packs I don't own with a money amount shown. When I had selected the ones I owned I pressed square to download and, typical, there was a problem. A short "we've got a problem" message popped up and I was kicked back to the game menu. Even trying one download at a time caused this problem. My popit was fine, no change that I could see. Still avoiding this game for now, so disappointing.

@catsand - were you having crashes before the update? I have crashes while in create. I haven't played online since the update, before that I rarely had crashes playing alone but often had them when playing with friends. @aratiatia - yes, it's very disappointing. Once you've "purchased" your dlc through the in game store, you might be able to download those items via your account management. Or try again when there are likely to be fewer players online, sometime during the week maybe,

Well I tried again to download just one item of my pre-purchased DLC last night and again I got the message "Something has gone horribly wrong! We'll get one of our monkeys on it right away." Having been playing LBP2 for a bit lately I also noticed how laggy the menu system is, a significant delay between pressing X and getting a response. It's always done this, I'm just having a gripe here. Back to LBP2 for now...

Well, I had the same issue, and it fixed when I deleted the DLC file on the menu. Now all I need to do is go through Story Mode again, but I really don't have much of a problem with that, since I was going to do that soon anyways. Like a convenient inconvenience. 8D And it seems to be running a lot faster now since the update, which is a plus. But yeah, I'm just glad that the dev-team is actually giving this title attention, and they seem to be trying to fix issues. I imagine that it's one of those situations where something went wrong somewhere and when they try to fix it, a few more problems aries. The game feels like it's going in a good direction. Not in the way we want it to, mind you, but baby steps. ... Also, I love this game too much to be grumpy about it. 8^y
