By the by, this is only DLC that's crossing over? No BaconBeard in LPB? *Edit* Ok...i went on LBP2 and the LBPK DLC (Release Day Jersey, KB, Racer, and UFG costumes) was available as a free download...which is fine and all, i did get that mug. Tho' seems a bit weird to have to DL what's essentially the same thing twice. *Edit 2nd* OK...so i looked on the store (the PSN directly, not through LBPK) again and noticed a whole chunk of costumes from 1&2 that i can DL again, for free, 'cause i bought them previously. Jeeze...hadn't realized how many i actually had...this is going to take forever. *Edit the 3rd* Oh...they're not actually all up there...and there're a bunch i didn't buy...right...we're done then. i'm going to go and get a beer and away from keyboard before i can say anything else stupid.

Tho' seems a bit weird to have to DL what's essentially the same thing twice. Because LBPK is a completely different game engine etc. (probably derived from the Modnation engine), they had to recreate every DLC costume in the LBPK format. So that's why you have to download everything again. It was always just DLC. No Baconbeard.

Ahh...well, that's life, tho' would've been nice to get some of the LBPK parts in LBP (i've got a thing for the Piranha hat, m'self). i will say that it's nice, after 5yrs of wanting it, to get emergency personnel costumes in LBP. As much as i like the branded stuff like FF, i think there's a lot more that can be done with more generic costumes. It's weird, tho', i'd swear that there's more on the US-store (for cross compatibility), than the J-side one. Right now we've got...let me think...the Disney/Toy Story stuff, FF, MG, the first set of LBP1 contest winning costumes, and the Olympics ones. No MiB, i don't think any of the Marvel, the History or Monsters stuff. i wonder how they're doing the porting with the different stores, usually there's not any lag between the sites. We got the Emergency Workers LBPK stuff a day after the US-side got it. Maa...just a day, so it's no a huge quibble, mind.

By the way, has anyone been able to download the Santa beard or the Metal Gear Solid costumes? Every way I try to get the beard it either gives an error or it shows a list of Vita and LBP2 downloads, where normally 3 are listed. And MGS for Karting isn't in the store at all here.

One costume pack that I wish the PS store sold for LBP Karting wasn't on the store. It contains these costumes: Holo-suit Space Pilot Space Suit Space Warden Space Captain Will they release these costumes for LBP Karting soon?

Is there something special that one has to do to get their LBP and LBP2 costumes to transfer over? All of the costumes I had in LBP2 still have prices for Karting.

Dunno if this helps, but for me a few of the Marvel pack I got weren't free, but the individual costumes were. Also, I think there were slight differences between various places you can download from, you could try the in game store in stead of the PS Store (or vice versa).

All of the costumes I had in LBP2 still have prices for Karting. Do you have the LBP2 Special Edition? The DLCs included in that version still cost money in other games because you technically don't own it. I had the Special Edition. Stuff like Cats Pack and Dogs Pack still cost money on LBPK because I don't really own those through my account, while stuff like the Tron Pack are free because I already bought them.
