Hi!

Archive: 20 posts

My name is Mike and I've been on LBP 2 since it released. (I got my PS3 and original LittleBigPlanet a couple years ago.) I've learned a lot about the mechanics of level making, but I haven't published many levels. I'm hoping to change that. Right now I'm working on a series of comedic films in lbp. for the webpage 8bitfix.com.

I might need help already actually. I just submitted a level, but I'm not sure if it went through well enough to get posted in the level sharing forum. I tried submitting it again and I got a message saying that this level was a dublicate. When will I be able to see my submitted level in the forum?

EDIT:

I keep getting an "Invalid Thread Specified" error whenever I submit the level.		2013-02-19 18:29:00

The auto moderation system catches posts with a large amount of links by members with 5 posts or less.

I removed the links, to make your post visible, and posted your links. After 6 posts you should no longer have an issue. 		2013-02-19 22:42:00

Howdy and welcome to LBPC. So glad you joined. This is really a great place to be. It's an awesome place to make new friends, learn techniques and tricks and just to have a good time. To help you explore the site I'll provide a few links for you.


The Level Showcase (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?40-Level-Showcase) area is the place you want to go to make a thread about your level. We have an optional F4F (feedback for feedback) system where you tell others to check out your level, come back and give feedback/suggestions and you'll do the same for them. It's a valuable system that is underused here. Be sure to use the LBP.me tool (the white bell in a blue box icon) http://www.lbpcentral.com/images/lbpme.png this will pull your level info from LBP.me and place it in the thread for you. NOT WORKING RIGHT NOW
Before posting your awesome creation in the level showcase, please read this handy dandy guide. It will help your get more attention to your thread and your level. Well, I did a stupid. After I got 5 posts, I saw that I got a more advanced toolbar, so I went back to edit the thread again and EMBED the pictures and video. Now it's disappeared again. 2013-02-20 03:40:00

welcome to our beloved LBPC, nice to meet you! I've seen that your levels haven't got too much plays so far, so I will have a look on them in the evening!^^ Comedic films is sounding rather promising, so I'm rather curious what TheRealCaptainM-Pictures will bring in the future!^^
