I'm some what kinda surprised no one has brought this game up yet. It's a great 3DS game and if you have a 3Ds,like tactical-role playing games, go buy it! It's a real fun game and I like most of the characters, and before you ask, yes Roy and Marth are in this game. I really like what they did with the Avatar system, improved support, and duel/pair up system. I've read nothing but good things about FE:A and if I ever get the 3DS it's one of the first games I'll pick up for it. I like that it has permanent death on top of all the other features, so you really feel invested in your characters. This has been implemented in certain tactics games before, it got a lot of attention in XCOM and the modern remake. Cool stuff.

It is quite possibly the best FE yet. Now, to answer the original question; I bought it on launch, you just don't see many gamers on a Sony IP fansite talking about a Nintendo IP. Besides that, the physical copy has had some nasty shortages... part of it is probably the game being much more hyped up then Nintendo thought it would be, but it is just as likely that Nintendo has been limiting physical copies to push the Digital version. Either way, fun game. Glad to see 90% of my 3DS friends list playing it.

I cannot get enough of this game. It actually made me love the SRPG genre, and now I wanna see more games like it. Donny is the best unit. EVER.
