Happy Friday everyone! As love was in the air yesterday during Valentine's Day, there was a passion I loved that was slowly faded away. I've decided to make the proper announcement now while I'm in a decent mood and currently trying to not get a tear in eye while typing this, but here's the scoop. The past couple Saturdays we did not have a meet at the club house except for last week which was a success thanks to Powder_001 and the new clubhouse she bought. There is in fact an excuse for my absences and I would love to tell you all. Starting six weeks ago, a small team and I began building a robot that can shoot frisbees and can climb using a grappling hook. Every Saturday, we meet for a few hours, less on any other day, and we do engineering and coding for the robot. This Saturday, is actually the last saturday we are using to build this robot and after that I will no longer be there. Hopefully that explained my absences over the course of six weeks; now for the other part. So what's going to happen for the future of the meets? Fear not, I will tell you. After an emotional conversation with the leaders I work with (Powder_001 and Malamo999), here is how the procedure is going to work out. For one thing, the meets are still happening! Just because I'm leaving, doesn't mean these meets will go with me! Another thing. . . We are hiring! Do you or anyone you know love to make magic happen? Love to have a fun time and meeting new people? Getting everyone an opportunity to hang out and have a good time? Then this hobby is for you! As one of the leaders you will be working with Malamo999 and Powder_001 to provide a meet once every two weeks at best on Saturday (3PMGMT to whenever the meet ends). Your duties will be as follows: Creating an announcement post for every Meet with the proper guidelines which you will receive. Keep track on the Twitter feed for replies, for retweeting, and technical support. Handle invites before the Meet starts and getting the invite list cleared once in a while. Keep contact with the leaders of the Meet. Have an awesome time! If you can do these objectives and are still interested, please do not hesitate to post in this thread including the following. Overall it has been a really amazing experience with so much memories that it is hard for me to pull away. I'm sad to see you go but I can understand. Thank you so much for all of your hard work with these meet-ups. I've had a lot of fun on all I've been to. Wish you all the best on your journey to something bigger. <3 Big Hugs!
