Timesaver DLC unlocks 135 new create objects! Avengers + New Icons

Archive: 16 posts

The latest patch for LBPV (1.07) brought additional content to some of our existing DLC and a raft of new content.
However it seems that by purchasing the "Time-Saver" DLC you can gain access to some of the new "Avengers" DLC kit including:

2 Music Objects - They work however they are missing proper names, as of now they appear as "Some Kind of Object":star:

125 Stickers - Most of them are Marvel but i did get 4 new Jackpot Fonts and 8 new icons including a new touch and trophy icon

8 Decorations - all Marvel themed

There was a bit of speculation on how to do this but i can confirm this works.
Ive already collected all the LBPV goodies and i spent the $3.00 on the "Time-saver" DLC in order to test this. <3

No. I dont have licenses for any of the Marvel Packs on my Vita. I also had collected 100% of the objects alreday. Seems like buying the "Timesavers" DLC unlocked 135 pieces of new content from update 1.07

Yes it came with the last content update.
The timesaver DLC is responsible for unlocking it but its clearly unintentional.

Depends on what you want it for. I certainly don't feel ripped off for the purchase. The new quasi-unlocked stickers even include a bunch of animation sprites so for me it's totally worth it.2013-02-19 14:26:00

Just becareful guys, when they fix this bug, if any of your levels have these 'free' stickers in them, you'll probably get locked out of your levels with some sort of message saying that you don't own the required downloadable content. I know that's how LBP2 functions with stuff that you acquired online that has DLC materials/stickers.2013-02-21 23:42:00

Yeah..........
For those that unlocked it....what are the music tracks like?

Not bad, Neither of them have names though. Both come up as "Some kind of Object"
They both show up under the 'Music-Interactive' section of the pop-it and both link to tutorials unlike some other glitched/doubled up objects.
Honestly i quite like the tunes, very involved/action packed vibe from them. The second has waaay more tempo and would be great for battles!
When tweaked both produce low/medium/high intensity slider bars and a start point setting. Also the usual trigger radius and visual settings.

Looks like Tarsier are onto this, as I can't find the doc on the European store anymore. Just a heads up to those lucky enough to have too much stuff!2013-02-23 20:06:00

I just took a look, and most of the new items say they ARE from Marvel! Sooooo......I'm guessing that they're making a Marvel Pack Revised for Vita!2013-02-24 00:36:00

It's not in the PS store but I think you can still grab it from the in-game store.
I have the EU store aswell.

Ill just ahead and add this here for completion sake

Since many of you are probably not visiting the new, now even more official, official forums (http://www.community.eu.playstation.com/t5/LittleBigPlanet/ct-p/c_EN_LBP) frequently, I thought I'd better quote myself here.
As some of you may have noticed the most recent update (1.07) for LittleBigPlanet PS Vita inadvertently added additional content to your Popit under certain circumstances.

Patch 1.08 will be released shortly to rectify this issue. Once the patch is installed you will no longer be able to use this content.

You will not be able to edit any level on your moon that contains any content that was introduced by this unfortunate bug. You will only be able to play, publish, or delete these levels.

For that reason, we advise that you remove the assets from your levels if you want to continue to edit them.

If you have placed any assets in your pod you will no longer be able to select them. If you attempt to select them they will simply disappear.

We apologize for any inconvenience that this bug may have caused you.
