LORD OF THE SACKRING (http://lbp.me/v/xbr9h0)

Hello everybody,

Let me introduce you my levels "LORD OF THE SACKRING", inspired by The Lord Of The Ring, my favourite book. I read it once a year ( in winter, near the fireplace, with my cat on my knees) since I'm be able to read, so I couln't resist in the desire to make a LBP level about it.
So at the moment, four first ones are made : The Shire, The Old Forest, Bree part one and Bree part 2.
Contrary to most of the levels I saw on LOTR, my levels are pure platform levels, without cinematics.

Thanks for your comments, devices and feedbacks.

Wow, Benj, the pictures are looking pretty good! I'm a LOTR-fan too! I've read the books about 5 times, I've also read the "Hobbit"" and even the "Silmarilion", don't ask me how often I've seen the movies, could be that you might think that I'm crazy!^^ So I'm rather curious to play your levels! I'm hoping that I can find some time in the evening and be sure that you will get a comment!^^
Many greetings, Jürgen^^

Hello Jürgen,
Don't worry, I think I'm crazy too...I can draw you all the family trees of the elfs without opening the silmarillion...
I hope you will enjoy my levels.

Hi biorogue, thank you for outing you as a true LOTR-fan too! We nearly could start a new community Just imagine, after a long day of working when theres time to relax then sitting together talking about the flank attack strategy of Gandalf and the Riders of Rohan in the Battle of Helm's Deep or discussiong what would have happpened if Gollum would have been a vegetarian!^^

Hi Benj,

I've just played your LOTS and I love it!^^ You've created a beautiful scenery with lots of lovely details, I love the atmosphere of your Hobbingen Shire!^^ Bilbo's Birthday Party has been great! Maybe the gameplay could be a little bit more demanding, but on the other side its Hobbingen Shire, peaceful and dreamy, so the easy gameplay is also fitting pretty good!^^ Thanks a lot, your level has been a great joy to me!^^

Many greetings, Jürgen^^

Hey man just played your whole series and here's my feedback,

Level 1: I liked the scenary, it really gave off the LOTR's feel to it. The music eh I didn't like so much but I didn't let that take away the experience of the level. But other then that the platforming was pretty simple and straight forward which was still okay.

Level 2: I really liked the environment of the level, I think I enjoyed this level more then the rest. Same as last level, the platforming was okay and the music was a good choice for this setting.

Level 3: As for the level link I think you could of possibly substituted the link for a worm hole so you wouldn't have to completely start from a empty and build. Like could of put part 4 into part 3 still and just make look like he came through the door through the worm hole thing.

Level 4: Was also really good, overall the whole series was still enjoyable to play good job.

Hello everybody,
Thanks for playing my levels, and for your compliments. It warms my heart.
Thanks to you, Sabre, for your great feedback. I had not thought about using a worm hole for level 3...very interesting idea, I'll see tutos for that.
I'm happy to see some LOTR fans here !
