To appease loyal fans, Sony just released details of the upcoming DLC for LittleBigPlanet through February. Nothing MGS Pack-quality, but there's some cool stickers and a chance to snag exclusive costumes you may have missed. Give it a look; we've got the full article at the jump. ------------------------- We know you guys have been looking forward to the next batch of downloadable content which was due to launch this Thursday, 22 January. Unfortunately, we're not going to be able to release what we had planned at this time, so the wait is going to be just a little longer before the new year's content updates start to arrive. In order to make up for this disappointment, we thought you might like to see all the new content we've got lined up to come out between next week and the end of February, so hold on to your hats as there's quite a bit! Seasonal content To get the new year started in the right way we've got matching Sackboy and Sackgirl Chinese New Year outfits which will be available for free next week to help you celebrate the year of the Ox. At the same time you can also dress up as the world famous Groundhog in a bid to predict the length of winter. When February rolls around you'll have no excuse for forgetting to buy a card as we release a special Valentine's Day pack containing 12 stickers and some themed costume pieces for your Sackperson. Each of these downloads will be available for a limited time, so grab them while they're hot! God of War Costumes and Stickers If you missed out on the pre-order offers to get hold of Kratos and the God of War content pack here's another chance to get hold of an all time classic Sackboy costume. Inside the pack you'll find Medusa and Minotaur costumes and a bunch of themed stickers to help you recreate ancient Greece in your game. Supersonic Sackboy In February why not pick up the pace and splash out on the WipEout content pack. Containing the WipEout costume kit and plenty of stickers to add some flavour to your game this is a very cool pack indeed. Well, if the delay is to handle the bugs it's good that they're delaying. Plus, woohoo for Kratos pack. I'm one of the handful of people who actually wanted to have Nariko instead of Kratos, now I get to have both if I want Also might be good to do a V-day level for the missus... hmmm

I'm not overly impressed with this stuff to be honest. I'd prefer to see more level's, materials, music, general creation tools etc than just costumes. I'm mean, there nice but it doesn't really change the options available to creators the way MGS pack did.

I dunno, they can't really be pushing out game changing DLC every month or so. I'm happy just to have costumes and sticker packs for a while, if it's helping fund the servers and Media Molecule. (Not that I buy the costumes, I don't really have that sort of disposable income, even if it is only a few quid, but there's a lot of people that do apparently). I like the Chinese New Year, Ape Escape and the Toro costumes, can't say I'm overstruck on the other things, but I like the good job they're doing of keeping up the makeshift aesthetic (cardboard helmets for the Wipeout gear are great).

Looks like we may be getting two downloads next week. The Chinese New Year costume on 1/26 and the God of War, Kratos costume, and Groundhog costume on 1/29. As for the next level pack, this schedule of DLC takes us through Feb.19 date. And Killzone 2 ships on Feb.27. So maybe on the Thursday before the release Feb. 26 we will get a Killzone 2 pack like the MGS pack. Wishful thinking I know but it may have been hinted at in this article of Sack it to Me. Sack it to Me CES Edition (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=t=7524) Upcoming DLC We?re getting ready to start another year of DLC on the PS Store at the end of the month - we?ll have a better update next week. I guess we want get a download this coming up Thursday. Since they released the Toro and Ape Escape early. Maybe they'll release the Nariko in it's place for all the people who still want it. Or the first of the new patches they have mentioned. Otherwise the 19th is a long ways away.

as much as i love wipeout, those costumes do look really stupid. bu from the short description it seems that there will be stickers as well. and wipeout stickers would be really useful. very unique, great design and could be used very creatively i would think.
