I've noticed recently that whenever i play Littlebigplanet i've been getting some serious Lag problems - Online and Offline. I havent had the "Unable to Save Profile" Pop up come up so i dont think my game is Overloading and my Hardrive still has 20gb left. So i dont think its anything to do with me. It mainly happens when loading levels. The screen stays white for up to a minute and sometimes in mid game it completely crashes. It also takes ages to place objects down in my levels when i click on them. Is this happening to you guys too or am i alone on this one? Its getting quite annoying now. If you guys have any information on why this is happening and how i can stop it i'd be much appreciative. Cheers

I never have lag, but I'm sick of a white screen all the time. Whenever I restart or return to pod, there is a white screen for ages. Right now I think that it is getting out of hand, and is preventing me from wanting to play for a while. I'm sure the lag and white screen are both linked, however. All of the things you've mentioned are not the cause. I don't think they are, anyway. The reason I say that is because none of those could be a possibility for me. Aside from that, I've noticed that pressing the Ps3 button speeds up the process of having a white screen. Either that, or it's in my head.

The white screens are cause because of some online check that game is doing. The check itself is having X problem and the game lags in it's transition screen, right the moment where the check is made. This shouldn't happen when offline. About the lag when you select an object... You mean when you're selecting something in create mode right? The most things that are glued together in the level, the most lag you will have when you select something. .

I tend to have lag alot when only playing online, right once I invite a friend or try to load a level... Its because that person that is joining has to load everything thats on the screen at the time... I found it was easier, faster, and hastle free is to just wait when you invite a friend or load a lvl. Sackpeople that a changing costumes or looking through there pop-it are also going to slow things down a bit. Just wait, have some patience and everything will work accordingly.
