Invisible material with physical properties? Is this some sort of glitch material?
I am more than a bit confused...

Actually, yes, they are glitches! I have invisible samples of cardboard, glass, stone, and metal which are both stable and stickerable. I also have one Attract-o-Material (Muppets), which is not stickerable and slightly unstable, and one Floaty Material which is stable but not stickerable. You can easily make the Cardboard version by taking a square of Sticker Material and setting its opacity to 0%, then using the Material Changer to change it to Corrugated Plastic (in the "Cardboard" section). There are tutorials spread out across both levels and Forums if you want to search, or if you just want the other materials themselves, let me know.2013-02-01 20:53:00

well u can easily place a decoration on a piece of invisi mataerial and thehn use the corner editor and make sure u set up a camera for a front on view of said area and then trim the material so that the matrials edges match the decor thats in front of it and it looks like sackboy is walking/running on top of what ever decor you have in front of your material2013-02-02 13:50:00

The Creator's Toolkit (http://lbp.me/v/fpjq8v) provides invisible material in the Glitch chip.2013-02-04 19:58:00

Alternatively you can take out a piece of sticker panel, change all the settings to 0%, then change the material to 'corrugated plastic', and it will have all normal physical properties but be invisible in play mode. Handy because you can see it in create mode, but not while playing.

Ever said to yourself that you wish you could use invisible material in your level for whatever reason? And find shrinking dark matter to be annoying and easy to lose? Well fear no more! There’s a much easier way to create invisible material that is so simple you’ll want to kick yourself in the bum for not figuring it out before now.

Step1. Take out sticker-panel material or turn something else into sticker-panel material.
Step2. Change all the settings on the sticker-panel material to 0%.
Step3. Use the material changer tool in your toolbag and change the sticker-panel material into “Corruggated Plastic” material.
Step4... There is no step4. So congratulations! You just made invisible material that can be edited at will and can be changed back into any other material of your choice whenever you want.
PS: You don’t own sticker-panel? If so then… TO BAD! Because you can’t do this same trick without it.

Last I knew invisible corrugated plastic is actually invisible in create-mode too. It does still leave a shadow which can make it easy enough to find. but best glue some SP mat to it so you don't lose it if your level is complex! *mew

Still, like you said, more useful than teeny weeny dark matter, both of which can be easily made.
