Random Microchippy Weirdness
Archive: 2 posts
Sooo.... i'm noodling through making my first track...nothing super special mind, just your average drive through the mountains everyone probably does their first time out. Anyways, i wanted to have a day to night change in there, and i thought it would be nice to have street lamps that turned on in response to that. So i pulled out the garden lamp object, slapped a little logic on a microchip on there to trigger in time with the change, and then cloned it and placed the lamps throughout my track. So far so good. Except when i went back into my track this morning, all the circuit boards from every lamp on the track had migrated back to the position of the original. i don't think it matters much as far as gameplay, but now it looks like there's a huge cobweb converging on the start area....weird. As a related aside, i really wish they wouldn't pop open all the circuit boards when you enter a level...just looks cluttered, and if i need to see them i can open them my own self. Edit: Oh and as an added bonus, it seems to have spawned 5or 6 extra circuit boards existing independently of chips, so i can't erase them... | 2013-01-31 02:17:00 Author: waffleking23 Posts: 535 |
I wish you could close the circuit boards just by pressing the close circuit button on the board and the chip. | 2013-02-07 21:49:00 Author: danthi66 Posts: 54 |
