Ninja Spire Jumps... (Sackbot Logic Related)

Okay, so if you can't tell from the title... I'm working on making a Sly Cooper sackbot. I've hit my first snag though. If you're not sure what a ninja spire jump is, it's an ability in Sly Cooper where you press the circle button in the air over a small, pointed object, and you will land directly on top of it. That's pretty much what I'm trying to make right now. Well, it's exactly what I'm trying to make right now. My original idea was to have the O button activate a follower that horizontally homes you in on the point, and lets you fall naturally on top of it but... There's no deceleration strength so when I press it, the Sly-bot just floats over to it and is suspended in the air. Gravity just stops doing its thing. Does anyone have any better way for me to do this? I don't want to enable vertical following too because it just looks awkward. I want it to still look like gravity pulls you on top of the point naturally, but doesn't just keep you suspended in the air. I also wanna mention that sometimes there will be more than one spire point close together, and I liked the follower option because it prioritizes (or at least it seems like it prioritizes) the closest point to home in on. Never played Sly Cooper but I think I understand what you mean I also never made this myself and I'm not sure if this will work but at least it can get some gears turning Create a Tag for the top of a Piller On your Sackbot have a tag senser with enough distance to sense the tag but not enough to get two tags at one time Have an and switch connecting that senser and the O button From that a follow switch should be put on your Sackbots Microchip The follow will move the sackbot directly to the tag and you can repeat Some things to remember is to adjust the speed to makes sense Another is set Strength to 100% if that option is available (cant remember) Good luck | 2013-01-30 21:30:00 Author: Unknown User |
