Viden perched himself atop a large oak tree, and surveyed the land for intruders. Today was a very special day for Mr. Viden, for today he would final escape Zemar, a lush planet with little more to offer than it's diverse population of ravenous monsters. One would think that a planet such as this would be devoid of anything a genius geneticist would want, but they'd be wrong.

Amongst the trees and many horrors, there lived a team of scientists. They worked there in secret to avoid any interference from any government, and they were at the height of their field, spaceship crafting. Viden had heard of them when he worked as the leader of the genetics field, and thus came to them to design a ship to suit his... needs. They were of course, unable to refuse, for Viden would inform nearby governments of their presence if they did not cooperate.

Viden glided down from the oak into a clearing near the entrance to a caved in tunnel. He slowly approached the boulder blocking the tunnel, and tapped upon it three times with his right claw. The boulder lowered into the cavern, causing a the trees nearby to shake. The way was now clear and he proceeded into the tunnel. Shortly after entering, the tunnel expanded into a giant room, filled to the brink with all sorts of technology. A young alien scientist approached Mr. Viden and pointed upwards saying, "your ship has been completed sir."

Above the lab, a fairly medium sized spaceship hovered. It was circular in shape, and the cockpit was a dome that sat atop the ship. At the very bottom of the saucer was a glowing dome that could do things from firing lasers to abducting creatures. It included a large laboratory for Viden's genetic studies on the inside, along with a few portholes from which to see into space.

"Good job, I'll take it now. Anything I need to worry about?" said Viden. "It's fusion engine has an unlimited supply of energy, and it comes included with a replicator, so you won't need to worry about food or supplies. Watch out though, your force field isn't going to be able to withstand fire from a Destroyer class. It'll be fast enough that I can guarantee that won't happen. If it somehow gets damaged, we have installed an auto repair program into the ship, so you'll be taken care of. If that breaks down, just return to this planet." replied the young scientist. "Thank you for your cooperation, I'll be leaving now." replied Viden. The team of scientists were all eager to see him leave, yet they were somewhat prideful about what they had created. Never before had such a masterpiece been created.

"I'll call her the Silver Griffon." thought Viden to himself as he set up for takeoff.

The mountain above them parted, and Viden
"Three... two... one... Lift-off!"

The scientists cheered as Viden took off. The ship's engine were so advanced that the ship didn't even make a sound as she escaped the atmosphere. "Truly a work of art, thanks" Viden spoke into the intercom. The sound of applauding came in from the other side. With that, Viden shut off communications, and set his course for the nearest inhabited planet.

Linkrad was still going strong after 11 years, but overall he had only obtained 5 out of 8 tablets and was losing hope...

Until he found the hidden base containing tablet #6. He had hope once again! So he wandered inside unknowing of what crazy monsters could be in there...

Jonathan Dexterius looked at the small red dot on the monitor. His time machine was complete. The celebration would have to wait, though. There was no power source sufficient enough to be able to bend space and time.
Or so he thought.
At the moment the monitor showed large energy readings coming off from a ship leaving the nearby Zemar system. He needed that power, was he to succeed in his quest to manipulate time.
He tried to contact the pilot. No response. After several tries, he readied his defense systems. This would be quite the tussle.

Viden's escape did not go as smoothly as planned. The ships radar showed that someone was preparing to attack him. Viden wasn't exactly the best pilot, so he switched on communications.

Viden tried contacting them. "Cease fire! Cease fire!" he yelled.

Inside the cave, Linkrad found a burden of monsters stuck on the ceiling. He thought to himself "WTF!?!" And continued on inside. After a while he found a small switch, so he stepped on it. And to his surprise gravity flung him up to the ceiling! THUD. "Ouch" he said, wondering what had just happened. He found himself surrounded by monsters, the monsters that minutes before were on the ceiling. He now knew "Gravity must have changed!" And began fighting the monsters.2009-01-24 15:44:00

Jonathan got a radio message. Finally. Things wouldn't have to be as hard as he though he would. He deactivated the defense systems. He activated his personal com station.

"You mind helping me out, buddy?", he asked. "Sorry if I gave you trouble, but there's something your ship has that could probably aid me in my scientific research. But, to make it up to you, I'll make you a deal...." He awaited response.

While waiting for a response, Dexterious leaned against his desk and looked outide. He was particularly proud of his custom ship, the Delorian. It wasn't destroyer class, bit it was the next best thing. And it was big. The size of the generator needed to power the time machine, affectionaly nicknamed 'the Kronosphere', was huge. He opened a drawer nearby and and took out a small, squared tablet. He had been able to decipher most of the strange lenguage on it. There were apparently ten more of these. Finding them might provide the infinite power he needed, might the deal with the stranger in the ship not go through. He had resolved to desperate measures, hiring a bounty hunter to eliminate this freak that had, at the moment, recovered 6 of the tablets. The assasin had a weird name, he couldn't put his finger on it. Boulder, pebble? No, it was Rock. Yeah. That was the name.

The com station beeped.

"You mind helping me out, buddy?", buzzed the voice on the intercom. "Sorry if I gave you trouble, but there's something your ship has that could probably aid me in my scientific research. But, to make it up to you, I'll make you a deal...."

Viden was hesitant to respond. After thinking carefullly he put the ship to a halt and buzzed in. "What kind of deal?"

B455 was growing quite discontent with his role. How was one to just accept a life of servitude? He wanted so bad to leave this laboratory, leave the entire accursed world behind.

On top of that, he was in a constant state of unease. The laboratory was built jutting straight out of a mountain, and had just enough to support it. If something was to happen to one of the support beams, well, it would either be the best thing to ever happen to him or the last thing. He was in charge of maintaining these support beams, so he knew better than any the extreme peril they were constantly in.

Oh well, there's no use in day-dreaming, he thought. I suppose I should go to check the supports for cracks.

Along the way he saw Dr. Newman, the scientist who built him. "Hello B455, on your way to check the supports?" he asked.

"Yes sir."

"I really appreciate the work you do around here, B455. We wouldn't still be running without you."

"Thank you sir. I'm pleased to help."

With that, B455 started walking away. He wasn't pleased at all to help, but it wasn't actually a choice.

Approximately 1 hour later, B455 noticed something strange. One of the supports had a strange hole in it. Upon closer inspection, it appeared to have been created by a gunshot. There was no other way it could have appeared so quickly. He knew he had to act quickly, a hole of this size could make the laboratory collapse. He got ready to repair it, when he noticed some dust falling from the ceiling right above the support...

After defeating the hordes of monsters Linkrad wandered toward an open door, inside the room was the Tablet! But when Linkrad got close to it a huge missile burst through the wall blowing everything up, even the tablet...

"No!" Shouted Linkrad, and then he heard a choppy computerized voice that shouted "Linkrad, we've come for you. We need you to be removed, you are a danger to humanity"

"What? How?" Linkrad said, confused.

"Classified reason. You must be terminated" And the mysterious ship shot another missile, this time hitting Linkrad directly.

"Mission complete sir, would you like me to take him to get his brain wiped?"

And the ship picked up the limp, semi-conscious body of Linkrad and took him to a secret base...

There was Bulrog, sitting on his throne, a whole army of otters before him. This was the day. This was the day that all the otters would go up in space and take over the universe. An otter approached Bulrog.

"Wise One! Your ship is now ready!"

"Finally!" Bulrog said as he stood up,"Otters! This is it! We have reached a new age! This is the age of the sea otter! No longer will we be stepped upon by humans and put in their "ZOOS"! We are the new dominant species of Earth, and the UNIVERSE!!!!"

Thousands of Otters cheered for their Wise One. The ships were finally ready! A whole space fleet Otter warriors. They would take over the universe, starting with Earth.

"What kind of deal?"

Dexterius smiled. He managed to hack the ID info from the ship's internal CPU.

"Well, well. I've heard alot about you, Viden. Genetics? Too bad about that incident. Anyways, I have a specimen of a rare type of genetic material. I've asked around, but no-one knows what it is. You're not thinking too much of it right now, but what if I told you I found this genetic material within a cave millions of years old? That's right. At the least, this thing is a couple million years of age. This genetic material may have the immortality gene. If you let me take the power source within your ship, or at least let me study it, then I'll let you have the specimen. It must mean alot to you, I'm sure."

After this conversation, he turned his attention to a large energy surge from Earth. What kinds of ships were these?
...
OTTERS!?

Viden trembled in disbelief. This could possibly be the greatest discovery in the history, and who was he to turn it down. All he had to do was allow the man temporary access to his energy source, which was nearly infinite. It could last for a millennium on the energy of a single molecule, such was the power of fusion.

Quickly, Viden readied himself and buzzed in, "I am a man of science, dear sir. How could one such as I possibly refuse an offer such as yours. I do this not out of greed, but in the pursuit of science, something more important than the lives of all who live in the cosmos. I accept."

Viden set the ships destination to the coordinates of the transmission. The ship began it's descent.

The ships were now off the ground, sailing through the skies. The Otter army had thousands of ships in the air at once. They were unstoppable! The Otters destroyed all in their path, leaving Human's cities and towns in a crater.

These ships were very original in their design. They were cow shaped, to symbolize how they will shoot laser cheese at you. They shot laser cheese at you and you melted. And it was NOT FUN! And then they would laser cheese bombs on towns. These ships were incredibly powerful. Not only were they very good offensively, but defensively as well. The ships were incredibly strong, and made so that if they crash into a planet that it they won't explode or implode, but they did have a weakness. Even a small amount of impact could possibly throw the ship off balance, and they would fall to the ground.

Bulrog was pleased with the progress that the otters had been making. But then, they were shot out of the sky.

Dexterius stared in disbelief at the monitor. The Otters had just eradicated most of Canada and Russia, and a bit of the U.S.A.

Just then, Viden's voice over the com station.
".....I do this not out of greed, but in the pursuit of science, something more important than the lives of all who live in the cosmos. I accept."
EXCELLENT. A win-win situation, and within minutes he might have the source of energy he needs to power the Kronosphere. And Viden would have the key to the greatest genetic dicovery of all time. Maybe he could even help out by taking down those Otter- Oh wait. They got shot down. Yay.

Upon the Silver Griffin's descent, Viden was able to get a clear image of the planet below. It was no problem to find the Kronosphere for the planet was fairly bare aside from a few mountains. Viden landed the Silver Griffin 100 yards away from the Kronosphere, atop a hill. Viden buzzed in "The Silver Griffin has touched down near your location. I'll be heading your way shortly. Please lower your hatch."2009-01-26 01:25:00

Bulrog was on the floor of his fallen space ship. That darn US military shot him down! He smacked his off of the steel floor very hard, he was losing blood fast. The survivors of the crash crowded around their wise one as he lay dying.

"Curse you gravity!" Bulrog shouted to the sky. Then, it went black.

My name is RockSauron.

I am a Lotorian, one of what is often referred to as a "beast".

We live in a monarchic society, and I was a noble- the son of a baron.

That is, until I rejected those views and fled to pursure a life as a bounty hunter.

But now... I wait.

This temple, located on the Forest Moon of Tenlio... It seems that this temple holds one of the legendary tablets!

As all members of the galaxy know, the Tablets were placed around the galaxy by a mysterious ancient race that spanned the galaxy before most current races began...

They said that, when all were together, the Ultimate Power would be unleashed...

But meh, it didn't matter. My client had hired me to take down a target, and thus I shall do. But, to think about what could happen if a human managed to gain all the tablets...

I ran the image in my head. A Young adult male, blond hair, in green cloths... Linkrad, I believe his name was.

It is my duty to kill this human. Nay... tis my job.

Dexterius was watching the carnage report of the Otter attack on the Intergalatic Satellite Array Broadcast Network when he got Viden's call. He opened the hatch, wincing as his eyes adjusted to the brightness of the sun outside. He saw the ship on the horizon. He could barely make out the shape of a strange animal-like being within. He stepped back inside the Delorian and grabbed a sealed container. He had taken a sample from the gentic material, but the rest was inside the container. He walked outside. Viden would probably be as stunned of Dexterious's deformations as Dexterious would be of Viden's.2009-01-26 02:32:00

Bulrog woke up. This was quite the odd feeling. Being dead and being brought back to life again....Bulrog was in his ship, and he had been HEALED BACK TO PERFECT HEALTH. He was on another ship, though. He did not understand how the other otters were able to achieve this.

"Where am I?" Bulrog asked.

"Wise One! We retrieve you from your fallen ship. We put you in the Vitachamber. It's been a couple hours, but now you're all better!" Said an otter warrior.

"Wait...WAIT...Who's flying this thing?" Bulrog demanded.

"Um...Grogmar....I think."

"Are you serious?!?" Bulrog rushed into the captain's room.

He knocked the otter steering over and found that they were heading toward some kind of science lab. Bulrog had no clue where they are, being asleep for so long. He just knew that they were on Earth, so he fired the laser cheese....

A Viden stepped out onto the planet, he could make out Dexterius heading towards his ship. Dextrius was about human sized, but he had a large head and long fingernails. In short, he was quite repulsive. Viden spread his wings and glided over to Dexterius. "I see you have the specimen," Viden spoke. "Here, bring it into my ship. I will be better able to preserve it than you. After the specimen is secured, I will transfer a mass of my ships energy to yours."2009-01-26 02:50:00

Dexterious tried not to jump back as Viden glided towards him. How did Viden manage to get himself transformed like that? Jonathan quickly dimissed the thought. After a short conversation, Dexterious handed over the container, and walked alongstside Viden to his ship. It reminded him of those ships his Human ancestors talked about long ago. UFO's, they called them. He walked inside the Silver Griffin.2009-01-26 03:02:00

Viden took the specimens contain with his beak, and as soon as Dexterius and him entered the ship, he took the liberty to put the specimen in a special storage device. "Alright Dexterius," spoke Viden, "We will need to hook your ship up to my power supply. You'll need to head back to your ship in order to do this."2009-01-26 03:09:00

Dexterius headed back to the Delorian get the power transitor. Once he had small amount of Viden's power source, he could study it, replicate it and harness it. But the problem then was moving the Kronosphere. It was pretty big, the size of a two story building. It could fit in his ship. The trick was getting it there. Jonathan decided he would cross that bridge when he got to it. He headed back to the Silver Griffin.2009-01-26 03:15:00

Someone shouted for Bulrog to stop, but he didn't. He shot the laser cheese and melted the laboratory.

"Bulrog, do you realize what you've done?!?"

Bulrog didn't respond.

"Bulrog...you just destroyed a refuge for baby otters."

Bulrog was stunned.

But look on the bright side, Earth was now taken over! Hurray for the Otters!

It's hard to explain the theories of quantum physics to a Geneticist, but Dexterius was one of those people that did not know the meaning of the word 'hard'. He connected the power transitors and waited for Viden to pull the switch.2009-01-26 22:48:00

He was no physicist, but he was curious as to what the man was working on. He was enthralled by the fact that Dexterius would even give up such a specimen. "Lets do this."

Viden pulled the switch.

Linkrad woke up not knowing where he was, he got up and looked around. He was in some sort of research facility, he looked up and saw something move quickly. Linkrad was about to unsheathe his sword when he realized it was gone! Linkrad took off quickly and ran through the unknown facility.2009-01-26 23:12:00

B455 had acted too late! The whole laboratory was collapsing, and if he didn't hurry, he would be crushed. He turned and sprinted as fast as he could towards the exit. He was hoping that he wouldn't see anyone on the way, as his programming would require him to help them if he did. Luckily, no one appeared, so he continued to run, turning on the alarm on the way. At this stage it was unlikely he would get out, much less anyone else.

He continued running through the labrynthine-like laboratory, focusing only on escaping. Suddenly the ceiling collapsed above him, blocking his path. Such a thing would stop most organics, but being an android, he was able to easily leap through the whole in the ceiling to the next floor.

The exit was in sight. Only a little further...but suddenly the exit was covered with rubble from the ceiling! Unluckily for B455, this ceiling was extremely thick and the rubble that had fallen didn't make a hole in it. It looked like he wouldn't make it. But he had to try. He sprinted at full power, ready to smash through the rubble, when suddenly the floor collapsed beneath him, along with the rest of the lab. Always the quick thinker, he knew the only way to avoid being crushed was to get some footing on the falling floor and leap off at an angel away from the laboratory. It looked like he would be safe now. He watched the rest of the laboratory fall. It made him happy to be free, but at the same time, he was sad over all the people who had died in there. He didn't see any sign of survivors.

He knew he needed to leave. He was property, after all, so if he was found he would be sold. He needed to escape the planet. He needed...a spaceship.

Linkrad, running too fast to know where he was going, fell. Wondering what had happened and why he was falling he looked up, and saw a giant spaceship. He thought " That facility must have been a spaceship!" but quickly realized he was still falling to the ground at high speeds, He saw a small marsh and knew that was his only chance of survival. He quickly swerved through the air and landed in the smelly bog. He swam out and dried off, looking around he noticed a large temple in the distance and started walking towards it in hope that he would find some shelter, and maybe a tablet.2009-01-26 23:27:00

I prounced down on my prey, as it cursed and tryed to block.

I managed to jump down, parry the monkey, and throw him down on the floor.

I moved to fire my blaster rifle at him repeatadly, but that monkey managed to fire lazers from his sword and knock the blaster out of my hand. Angry at myself for being so careless, I reached out to grab my gun, as the monkey regained his footing and prepared to attack...

Linkrad charged at the scaly being and smacked him with his shield. He then used his magical powers to fire lightning bolts at him but, "CRAP! Out of MP" He then noticed a large plasma bolt fired at him, he tried to dodge it but it nicked him right in the arm. He lay on the ground writhing in pain...2009-01-27 01:55:00

I walked to the strange being... How could he possibly have summoned such power...?

I walked slowly toward him, and began to fire the trigger...

When they appeared, and fired his gun right out of my hand.

****!, I thought. How'd they find me?!

I began to fire at them, but they soon overwhelmed me, and knocked me out...

When I awoke, me and the monkey were locked in some strange cell together... Our equipment, gone...

Linkrad woke up hanging by chains. Beside him was the assassin!

"You!" Linkrad shouted.

"What monkey!" the assassin replied, also shouting.

"What happened, where are we?"

"How should I know, you got us in to all of this mess"

"Me? Why I oughta... where's my stuff?"

"I'm guessing they took it? (Wow he really is a stupid monkey)" He mumbled

"I heard that!" Linkrad shouted as he tried to wiggle out of the chains.

I sighed... I never quite liked humans... Though I'd heard, funnilly enough, that OTTERS took over their home world...

"... Call me Rock. We've been thrown into a jail by some big faceless types I've thrown a couple jobes for in the past."

"... Jobs?"

I laughed. "Here and there, a bit of blood." but I moved out.

"I think we can get us out of here... however, I'd need your help... I've never been one to run away from a job, but..."

"... What do ya say, Linkrad?"

"I have no other choice, even though I am mostly a lone wolf. Do you know how much outburst there would be if I traveled in a party as if this were some kind of RPG?" Said Linkrad

"Here," I responded. "They probably haven't fixed this yet..."

And, just as I figured, there was a small heat vent under his cot.

"Here, stand back," and I managed to rip it out.

Linkrad climbed in the small hole. Inside there were a load of insect and small creatures.

"This is disgusting!" Linkrad said.

"Just be glad they recently cleaned it..."

"Ewww..."

Linkrad and RockSauron crawled through the claustrophobic pipe.

"So you got a name?"

"Linkrad, but alot of people back in my homeland preferred to call me Link"

They continued until they saw something to which RockSauron said

"Don't... Move..."

Dexterius had to thank Viden. He had already manged to replicate the fussion power source. The Kronsphere was up and running. He rememebered the emergency at Earth.
He turned on the com station, and shouted into the loudspeaker system of the Otter Mothership.
"Watch, you filthy creatures, as I send your fleet to another dimension!"
And with that, he flipped the switch.
A blinding ray of light erupted from the circular dome of the Kronosphere, aimed straight at the sky. After reaching into the uper atmosphere, the ray of light burst into different bursts of light, spreading in all directions. One of them hit the Otter mothership. With a flash of light and a crackle of electricity, it disspeared from the skies. If the Kronosphere had worked, this had happened to the other ships. He walked outside to check on Viden.

When Dexterius entered the Silver Griffin, Viden was testing the specimen. Dexterius extended a long-fingered hand, unsure of how exactly Viden would handshake.
"It's always a pleasure to meet a man of science." He said. "Who knows? We might cross paths once again in the future."
The future.
What an ineteresting prospect.

With that, they departed. Viden sped off to the other end of the universe to study the specimen.

First, there was a blinding light. Then, there was nothing. No other otters, no ship, no planets, no stars, just Bulrog. Then, there was a man. Just floating there. He was bald and was very tall. He turned to Bulrog smiling. He approached Bulrog, got closer and closer, and as he did this his smile turned into a horrible frown and Bulrog noticed what a revoltng creature this man was. He had an incredibly evil look in his eyes. Then his face was right in front of Bulrog. This man opened his mouth incredibly wide and began to scream. He screamed and screamed but no sound came out. Bulrog was incredibly confused and frightened, but he was frozen in place, he had no control over his movements, like a terrible nightmare. The man screamed until he became purple, then he became pale. And then, his eyes closed and he floated away. Then came a crocodile. A crocodile in the middle of blackness and nothingness. Bulrog tried to swim away, but nothing happened. As the crocodile approached, it became extremely massive. Then it opened it's powerful jaws which engulfed Bulrog.2009-01-27 03:41:00

"what?" that monkey shouted.

I looked down, and saw two officals in this organization.

"We managed to find the lab working on Oordon XII" one said, "but it seems the robot with the information on the tablet escaped..."

"Hm... this may prove a problem..." sighed the other one. "I want a full search out for this robot! Tell everyone that he has info on a Tablet!"

"His production number is B455!" and, with that, the two men ran out of the room below.

"Hm.. would hate to be that robot..." I growled.

"But... a Tablet!"

"Shut up! Let's just get out of here..." and we continued to crawl through the vents.

Johnathan looked back at the Griffin as it took off and entered his ship, now powered by the fusion engine. He'd have to call Rock later, tell him to stop the hunt. The Kronosphere also allowed for the manipulation of matter and space, so he was able to get the Kronosphere onto his ship quite quickly.
Next thing he noticed was an alert on his monitor. Darn. It couldn't be!

About 2 lightyears away from the Outer Rim of the galaxy a wormhole opened.

The Otters. No, it couldn't be! The chances of that happening were one in a million. Is it possible that...

Dexterius decided to check this with a close friend of his, Dr. Newman.

He flipped the switch on the Kronosphere and teleported to Oordon XII.

Bulrog was trapped in this hellish universe, where all of his worst dreams came true. So many times, he was swallowed whole by crocodiles. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a weird funnel-shaped thing appeared. It drew Bulrog closer. What a gravitational pull! Bulrog drew was going amazingly fast as he floated closer. Then, almost instantaneously, Bulrog was back in his universe. But where were his other otters? They seemed to have vanished. Perhaps they're still stuck in that alternate dimension. What a horrible place.

He set sights for earth!

The Delorian appeared over the skies of Oordon. Wow, what a trip! Dexterius checked the status of his ship. Nothing had gone wrong.

Horror awaited him, however, when he turned his sights to the place Dr. Newman's laboratory used to be. Instead, he found at the bottom of the mountain huge amounts of rubble. Newman's eccentricity had finally cost him his life, perhaps?

....A survivor?

Dexterius touched down with the Delorian and stepped outside.

"Dr. Garitz?"

A voice spoke as the front of the tent unfolded to admit a well build man, decked in uniform of a higher officer.

"You know I'm fairly sure I'm not officially a doctor until...."

"Garitz!"

"Yes sir...."

Latir Garitz was the unit's chief medic, although not from choice. After several months of trying to find him another role in the team he was left with it. To lazy to be recon, to cowardly to be infantry and the less said about his aim the better. Although reluctant in his job to start with, he soon found himself settling nicely into the niche , at least he stayed in camp most of the time. Although sometimes he wondered if he saw more blood than the front line. At least unlike them, it wasn't his own.

Another day, another fringe war - Protecting the borders from "savages". He felt he was just another cog in the war machine these days, drafted 4 years ago in an emergency and never relieved. Did anyone even notice?

He wasn't sure who (or what) they were even fighting this time round. Though if he was a gambling man he'd place it on a syndicate, theres something about the vastness of space than makes otherwise harmless syndicates hire personal armies and try and conquer worlds.....

"GA-RITZ!"

Latir sighed, it seems he wasn't going to be left alone without dealing with the commander. Him and the commander had an understanding. While the man found the good doctor evasive and cowardly, these traits meant he was the only medic on the squad who'd managed to live long enough to gain some experience at the job. This offered Latir the double-edged sword of, no matter how hard he tried, never being dismissed from service.

"How can I help sir?"

"We're pulling out, I need you to oversee the medical shipments"

"But I thought we doing so well this time sir, I haven't had to remove a limb in ohh....hours"

"Very funny, but we've received orders from a higher source. The seems to have been some trouble back on earth... something about invading seals?"

"Invading...seals, sir?"

"The message was slightly scrambled, but its clear enough - We're to return immediately. Organise the medical team and prepare to retreat post haste. We'll gather on a near by planet plan our route. But we need to move the men before any more of them die out there!"

"So we can take them to die in a more exotic location....sir?"

"Just do it" The commander muttered before throwing maps onto the table and leaving.

A quick glance at them showed Latir all he needed to know. But why land there, that place is empty. isn't it?

Linkrad and RockSauron continued through the piping. They eventually came to the end and climbed out, little did Linkrad know that they were in the middle of a containment center, but Rock knew.

"We should move." Rock said

"Why, where are we?" Linkrad replied

"We're in the lab where they do all the testing on live specimens."

"I see..."

Footsteps were heard in the distance.

"Uh oh." Linkrad said

"Let's go!"

The two of us began running... Armed guards began running at us.

"Move it, you monkey!"

We ran down the hall, and I pulled the human into an adjacent hallway, where...

Yes, the hanger.

The two of us, under heavy fire, ran toward the small fighter ship. One of the guards was especially careless and ran straight up to us- I snapped his neck and took his Lazer Rifle.

"Get in!" I snapped, and the two of us began flying out, me piloting, him standing there like the useless hunk off fat he is...

Soon, I managed to make the jump, and we were out of their reach- for now.

"Well.. where to now?" he asked.

I stood there for a moment, then reached for my lazer rifle I stole from the guard and aimed it a his stupid unarmed body's head.

"I NEVER lose a kill."

"I NEVER lose a kill." RockSauron grunted.

Linkrad only had one choice... jump. He stomped the ground and burst open the emergency hatch and fell...

An unknown time later Linkrad woke up on a heavily populated planet, populated with otters! Linkrad had the strangest look on his face, like he knew where he was. Suddenly he knew, "EARTH?!?!" He shouted.

Just as B455 was about to take off, he noticed a ship flying overhead. It was too close to the ground, it must be stopping. He scrambled to find somewhere to hide, but he knew he had probably already been seen. The ship came to a stop, and someone stepped out. He looked like a human, albeit with a very large head. He decided it was best to pretend to be a human. If he was lucky they wouldn't check him too carefully. The human walked over:

"What's the matter? Why are you hiding here?" the human asked.

"I was frightened. I am the sole survivor from the laboratory."

"Do you need any assistance? Where will you go now?"

"I've no idea. Would you mind letting me accompany you?"

"You mean, like in an RPG? Sure, why not? It's not as if I have an adventure game reputation. But, first I must acquire some supplies for my ship. Would you mind leading me to the nearest city?"

"I...I suppose. Come along."

Latir woke to smoke and the acrid stench of burnt metal, he looked around him to see the transporter in ruins. He lay still and tried to remember how...and why he got here. He remembered packing medical supplies and heading for Orrdon XII. Yes the co-ordinates were locked computer, he remembered checking them. Auto-pilot engaded. He remember going to sleep, he briefly spoke to Lance and.....

LANCE!

Gathering his strength Latir ran through the wreckage of the ship to the co-pilots quarters. Only to find they weren't there anymore. He fell to the ground...

"What happened...."

After several minutes he realised he would have to try and contact the rest of the squad, if they landed at all. Once again he sprinted the length of the wreckage to what was once the bridge. He slammed the communicator button in desperation. A series of lights winked into existence as the other transports established communication.

"Alpha Squad, this is Epsilon - Come in"
"Beta Squad, this is Epsilon - Come in"
"Gamma Squad?"
"Delta?"

One by one the lights extinguished along with what little hope Latir had left. He spent some time trying to salvage what was left of the ship.

"Computer establish co-ordinates to Orrdon XII"

"You have reached Orrdon XII"

"No establish co-ordinates TO Orrdon XII"

"You have reached Orrdon XII"

"Stupid machine...."
"Plenty of medical supplies at least" he thought "Pity I'm fine and the only other person here is beyond Band-aids and sugar pills"

Wearing his now tattered white coat, strapped with ample supplies, he stepped outside the ship. Keeping one hand on his former crew members gun he stepped into the wilderness.

Only to find another ship landing in the distance.....

"Its not military marked....they must have shot us down!"

He watched careful as a someone...no something...well somewhere in between those emerged.

Taking careful aim he fired 6 shots in a sharp volley at the target, the noise the lasers didn't make as they missed the target was deafening.

"Why didn't I stay in the war where it was safe...."

As Bulrog approached Earth, he noticed a whole swarm of otters....around some green guy. He took touched the ground and rushed toward the crowd around the green guy. He was surrounded by armed otters, and he had just fallen from incredible heights. Bulrog entered the crowd.

"What is this?" Bulrog asked.

"This green man fell from the sky. He threatens our Otter existence. He must be eliminated."

Bulrog thought back to his childhood. His favorite color was green. It was always so cool because it's like grass and trees and stuff.

"WAIT! YOU SHALL NOT PASS! Bulrog pressed a button that killed all the otters except him, and said to this green warrior.

"Come with me. I shall give you some milk."

Dexterious helped the survivor up (Interrupted by a flash of light, something like a laser rifle. Probably nothing, maybe swamp gas....) and he led him to his ship.
"I'm only missing some food. We can get there right now. Do you have the exact coordinates of the city?"

It seems he didn't.

"Well, we'll have to take the long path...." Dexterius grunted. "What's your name anyways?"

The survivor did not get a chance to answer, as a man in a white medical cot entered the ship and fired twice. He missed.

"You're not serious, are you?"

And with that, Dexterius grabbed a Stun Gun and fired a shot to his head.

Viden's days were now spent studying the specimen. He only slept for about 5 hours a day, and then continued to work. His progress was slow, and the days were long. He was making progress, but deciphering genetic code was not an easy thing. After weeks of hard work, he found what he thought was the code.

"But what to test it on?" thought Viden, "the Insta Destruct Jelly of Alpha V of course! They have an average life span of 5 minutes, that should do nicely."

Viden used a specimen of thes Insta Destruct Jelly he had preserved to test. Inserting the DNA sequence into the Jelly's genetic code, he released it from it's state of preservation. He waited for 5 minutes, then an hour... the Jelly didn't die.

"Eureka!" cried Viden.

Viden's celebration did not last long. He soon realized that people would come after him. His life would be over if he allowed this to get out.

"The universe must never know, but..."

Viden looked at the genetic code. "Oh... how you tempt me so." Viden stared intently at his research. "It must be hidden away, for no one to find..." Viden pressed the red button the the table where all his research lie. A glass container sprang up from the ground, engulfed the table. The air filtered out, creating a vacuum in the container. The container and the table lowered, along with all those weeks of research. A new floor panel moved in where the table had once stood. Thus, Viden's mission was complete.

"Err...Bass! Bass Deluxe."

The human seemed confused, as if this was a strange name, but said nothing about it. B455 realized how strange it sounded after he said it aloud, but it was too late to change it now. He decided to stay silent and watch the two humans before him.

oooooooooooo-k...........

Once again lets work this out.

Commander. Evacuate. Orrdon XII. Crash. Gun. Strangers. Shoot. Miss. Unconscious.

I think that covers it, I better not move - perhaps if they think I'm dead they'll leave me alone. Who are these "people" anyway?

One seems to be Human. I think, he certainly looks human, but theres something not quite right there.

The other seems to be....

"GAH!"

Scrambling quickly to his feet he reached for his gun, which was no longer there. As the strangers looked on he frantically check his gear to finally produce a small surgical scalpel.

"Get back! I know people, powerful people - any moment now my squads going to...to...."

He slumped back to the ground and muttered in a voice that was equal parts despair and boredom:

"Just shoot me"

"Tell me your name and how you got here." Dexterius said. "I am an ally of the Earth Military."

"Tell me your name and how you got here." The "man" said. "I am an ally of the Earth Military."

On hearing these words Latir once again sprang to his feet, grabbing the hand of the person who not two seconds ago knocked him out. Well, nows not the time to be making new enemies.

"I'm Latir Garitz, was...no, am...no, was the the chief medical officer in the war effort against the Soverign Oligarcy, or was it the Star's Electorate?"

A piercing glance told him all he needed to know about the extent this man cared.

"Look I'm trying to get back to Earth, I've been out here in the middle of nowhere for 4 years now and It would be nice to see home again. Even if it has been invaded by sealife. At the moment it seems my fate is in your rather pale hands......"

"Actually thats quite an interesting mix you have going on there, no offense of course, Id say Murcurian blood? - Oh dont look so surprised, I studied Murcurian architecture for a couple of months back on earth."

"Anyway I'm rambling, just a few questions though....Who are you? How close can you get me to earth? Why are you looking at me like that?"

However, we'll be shortly landing at a nearby city to restock on food, after which I'll lave you back on Earth. Or what's left of it, anyways. BY the way, the invasion has been halted, but there is still a small amount of Otter occupation, so I can't help with that."2009-01-28 18:24:00

Latir waited for a few moments while he thought over what Jonathan said. It was too simple, He happens to crash inches away from a ship that can take him where he wants? Nothing works like that, no amount fo luck can line you up a perfect series of events. Who shot him down? Why? Where was the rest of the squad?

Too many questions, but for now It seemed best to see where the story took him....yes the story...as if this was all planned some how....

"Well Mr. Mercurian - I'm afraid I always failed at languages - this is all very convenient, and not that I'm not grateful, but you seem awfully eager to give me passage and this seems all a bit to clean for my liking. I hope this doesn't offend you because, well, living is a habit I'd hate to break. But I need to ask, Whats the catch Dex?"

I... couldn't believe it.

That monkey ran, and opened the emergency hatch- WHILE WE WERE IN SPACE!

I have NO idea why the door could be opened so easily, but when he opened it, he was sent out into the vacuum, and died out there, floating in the abyss of nothing.

I, meanwhile, managed to use my Lotorian grip to grip onto the computer module, then floated and quickly shut the door as the human floated out into the vacuum- I was barely able to survive as I expected the air to run out in a few moments.

Then, I collapsed near the module, gasping...

.. It... wasn't exactly how I imagined my kill would take place... but at last the job was done... In a way...

When I caught my breath, I went to the ship's computer, and dialed the Com frequency for the Delorian...

Dexterius woke up to the smell of smoke and burning metal. The Delorian had crashed. He had programmed it to do so incase someone had gotten inside the ship and shot him. Nearby the armed stow-away had been impaled by a steel pilar. Dexterius got up to examine him. Argh! He had sprained his ankle. Limping over to the dead body, Jonathan's unhappy expression grew even more worrysome. This was no ordinary stow-away.

He examined the damage. Nothing the nanos couldn't fix. He opened a canister and watched a swarm of small, microbe like robot swarm across the floor. This might take a few hours. He looked to his left and saw that the energy generators and the Krnosphere were unharmed. Thank the gods.

But where were those two others?

I waited til dark. I sneaked past the Trisceum and sprinted to the space docks.

This was it. I was leaving.

As I approached a docking station I noticed something in the sky. A ship!

I hid behind a bush as it approached...

Latir performed his usual checks instinctively, if only to take his mind off whatever horrors awaited him this time.

"Well I'm was conscious, thats a nice surprise. All the major limbs seem to be there as well. Cant complain really."

As he sat and contemplated what his next move should be a thought hit him. It didn't hit him hard, but slowly nagged at his mind until he realised he better do it.

"ah yes, other people"

He stood and went looking for Johnathan and the other stranger, after searching several rooms a chill hit him, as if someone was walking over his grave...no not quite, as if someone was walking...through him?

Putting it down to shock he continued his search, and eventually returned to his makeshift desk/barricade.

"At least the ship seems to be in good condition. But theres no-one here, not a single person....I...I need coffee"

All the while in another room the Kronosphere hummed gently.

I soon was granted clearance from a space dock. So there IS intelligent life out here...

Soon, I departed from my stolen vessel, and payed the man who came to check up on me.

I soon departed into the jungles- I was told there was a city out there. Perhaps I'd be able to find a different client there as well.

However, soon I sniffed something... familiar.... Could it be?!

I reached behind a bush... to find a Paderst. A favorite delicacy among my people.

The beastly figure held me to his face. I could smell his rancid breath.

I was thrown into the air, surely to be gobbled up in just a few seconds. I turned in the air to get a good sense of where it was. At the very last moment I lashed out and fell to the floor. The creature screamed. I scurried off into the shadows of the dense forest canopy.

Dexterius had finished applying the leftover serum he had made from the genetic sample to his ankle. It worked fast, faster than anything that Dexterius had ever seen.

He stood up and once again went over to the body of the stow-away.
The Omega Corporation. These were danegerous guys. They planned on controlling the universe and they probably found out about the Kronosphere. They needed to take him out....

Then a scream in the bushes. Dexterius set his pistol to the lethal setting and headed out.

The ship drifted slowly onwards, through the great black void.

Latir busied himself on finding fewer questions. This method of thinking is one of the many ideas he owed his prolonged survival too. If you go looking for answers you'll only find more questions, which in turn drags you deeper into whatever it was you needed answers for. Latir didn't like being deep in events. He preferred to stand on the side and watch everyone else. Perhaps occasionally throw the odd rock when no-one was looking.

But it seemed this time he would need answers....He was alone, on a ship that not long ago had crashed. However it was now fully repairs, in a region of space light years away from where he was before, and missing all its crew. Well its crew of one, but the general idea still applies.

"well I suppose I should find out where I am....lets see..."

He pulled up several charts on a nearby console and examined them, and pulled up several more untill he found something he reconised.

"Earth? I'm orbiting earth? - I guess we made it here then....No wait, if Dex is down below how am I still in orbit. Something isn't right here, but to travel so far in such a short space of time..."

Little did he know the space of time he traveled in was much longer than he expected....

The Kronosphere continued its gentle aria....
