In Your Base Invading Your Space

Hey guys, I have a really basic version of my space invaders level I made. http://vita.lbp.me/v/-tr4v Please take a look, if you have time and critique. As of right now I only have 2 different enemies and no different power ups for the player, which I want to change. I have a unique controlling system that is explained in a picture on the main menu. Basically it's just a survival right now to see how high of a score you can get. Let me know what you think and any ideas would be great! Another thing I was thinking was to zoom out or make everything smaller in order to fit more enemies in per wave. Thanks in advance! Hi, Mamoswine I played you level. I like the title screen ![]() Game mechanics is nod excellent for me. I think that players ship must move faster and without inertia as in original game. Also there is very slow speed for shooting. I don't ask speed shooting as with AK 47 ![]() And only one life - I played original game on Spectrum 128 and it was real hardcore to finish it, but in your version with all its features it even more hardcore. And one more - I think that better to us sticker panel material for ships and decoration - it can change color and with it you can create nice decorations. Thanks Domik12! That's exactly the critique I need. I agree with a lot of your ideas, but I kinda wanted to keep the deceleration on the ship because it forces the user to constantly flick the joystick back and forth to balance out and gives a feeling that you're actually drifting in space. But I think you're right about the speed of the shooting, which will be better when I zoom everything out some more and fit more enemies and the player is smaller too. I got a review on my level from WartPigX saying that the main menu was broken and he couldn't get passed it. Use your finger and tap on the screen at the "PLAY" text on the main menu. Main menu looks good and is pretty obvious.. ... the game itself, i really had problems with the controlls, u should have added a gravity tweaker set to 100%, which activates if the controllinator isnt "activ"/used.... theres an output for it, beeing activ or unactiv... that stops the movement in the moment u dont press the analog stick anymore.
