So last night I'm on the LBPV splash screen waiting for LMP.ME link to show up. All the sudden the splash screen changes and now it looks different and says Trial Mode. I freaked out a little, luckily the game still seems the same, but even after turning off the Vita it still says Trial Mode, its annoying. Someone help me it seems I'm the only one!

Mine changed too. The only thing I've noticed different is now it comes up with a few DLC icons. You're not the first person I've heard get the trial/demo mode indication on the splash screen. Personally I haven't encountered it.

Hey Krondelo, can you tell what region you are in and whether you are using the digital version or the retail version?

i've had the same thing for ages on the digital version from the australian store. game still runs fine so i'm not too worried about it

If you are really bothered by this you can boot your Vita in safe mode (https://support.us.playstation.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3735/~/ps-vita-safe-mode) (Hold R + PS Button + Power Button for 5 seconds) and rebuild your database. You might want to back up important data before you do this though. It usually doesn't delete any data, but you never know.

This happened to me when my profile got corrupted and i transferred an old backup (File was still at 100% story, but i lost old copies of my 1st level that had the emitted objects and such, thankfully the level was 100% done and published so it did not matter to me). It eventually reverted back to the original splash screen. I can't remeber if it fixed itself from a patch, transferring the backup file, or simply fixed itself over time. I don't mean to make you worried but you may want to backup your save, you can never be too careful.
