i was in the process of making a car, when i got to the suspension and thats were my question is... the springs on my vehicle are on 100% stiff and the car just drops right down to the gound with the suspension attached. how do i fix this?

It's too heavy for the springs, try de phyisicalising some of the material to take away some weight, and and anti gravity tweakers to other bits don't make it all with no gravity because it won't look right, it will kinda float, play around with the settings and you should get it right with a bit of patience

oh thanks, idk what de physicalizing means but should the car weigh too much with just 1 layer of cardboard?

Dephysicalizing means making a bit of the object like a ghost. Take a cube of cardboard and try it! Hence the icon for doing it. So you can walk through it even though you can see it as well as it has no weight or mass. However, I wouldn't think 1 layer of cardboard would weigh too much, though it depends on how large it is. Have you tweaked the springs any by making them more stiff?
