Hey guys! I just finished my first vita level called 'Clown's Mansion'! It is a platformer, preferable on 1Player. Here's the link:http://vita.lbp.me/v/-sw1v Some pics: 44045 44046 44047 44048 Hope you enjoy, have fun! | 2013-01-27 20:20:00 Author: Pyrotrooper91 Posts: 337 |
Hi ! I've just played it and reviewed it on LBP, so maybe I'll be repeating myself. I hope you don't mind. Anyway, you did an excellent platformer, and the way you handled the gyroscope is great (which is, of all the ever-been/be/will-be functionnalities, the one I hate the most - but you managed to do something rather pleasant). On the other hand, there were times when I was kinda lost in your level, before realizing there was a lift to grab : maybe you should put a sticker to help people find their way through. Anyway, I hope the other Sackboys and girls will enjoy it too ! | 2013-01-27 21:13:00 Author: Unknown User |
Looks great. Queued! ------------------------------------------- Edit : Okay I played it and it was awesome. Incredible looking platformer with very good gameplay. I loved the sackbot too and the way you designed him. Overall this level blew me away but there are couple problems I ran into. There are a couple camera angles that could be better. There is one obstacle in particular, it is a round sponge on a bolt that you swing over some spikes, but you can barely see the sponge before you jump. I died the first time I played that section, felt like a cheap death. There are a couple more but I can't remember now. There is a section at the beginning where you grab a long section of sponge to carry you up to the next section. Maybe put a light there because It took me a while to see that. Its dark up in that corner. Right at the beginning, you use touch to move a sponge up and you can swing over to a platform. If you use that sponge to go to the section below and stay behind the stack of coins, when you release the sponge, you fall out of the level. That should be a simple fix. Other than than those few gripes, I really liked this level. If you make a few changes I will heart this. | 2013-01-27 21:42:00 Author: VelcroJonze Posts: 1305 |

Nice! Not a fan o platformers, but this was good fun nice use of tilt and touch, well thought out platforming, and nice looking level, well done Few minor thoughts... Perhaps jump pads at the cannon you have to destroy, food it impossible to not get klee every time it fired. A check point at the last bit before the end where you have to blow up the wall? Perhaps need a couple less bombs to blow it up, it felt a little tedious. Nice level | 2013-01-28 14:35:00 Author: Shade_seeker Posts: 328 |
Hi, rather late but i played your level, its a really well crafted platformer, got some charme. Only thing i disliked was the end... bombing this wall took way to long. Got really bored there... played it in 2 Player mode, it worked quite good. Glade u gave the option atleast. In general i get kinda bored with all this platformers putting all the vita functions in it + touch touch touch... just for the sake of it most of the times, but u implented some cool things there. Good level, man. | 2013-02-05 18:23:00 Author: Rough-Tea Posts: 422 |
Played this level a while back (well at least a few days ) but only just got round to feedback. Although it's more praise for this level than feedback because it is just so beautifully crafted and the layer switching that's required is very Tarsier, would have felt at home as one of the story levels. A couple of times the stickers didn't quite match the dank, dark theme, but they were generally not distracting and so in that way weren't too much hassle. The gameplay is lovely and flows well throughout, so not much complaint at all there! You created a loveable story with good art design and won yourself a <3 and from me! | 2013-02-08 19:04:00 Author: Coxy224 Posts: 2645 |
